“Amazing food and service. Parking can be a struggle depending on how busy they are. Brittany was absolutely amazing! Shrimp was excellent! Hush puppies were fresh and tasty. Save room for the dessert. Four of us enjoyed a late lunch for under $20 each. We were full when we left. Definitely worth the time and effort. Did I say Brittany was amazing?! Cash only.“

“What a gem St Augustine has in its’ midst! We recently visited the fine establishment after reading previous reviews and was overwhelmed by the kindness and expertise of the owner! We were novices and had never prepared blue crab before. Instead of being annoyed at our lack of knowledge, he explained at great length and in easy to understand detail, how to prepare his delicious crab in several different ways. We served up a delightful, delicious meal that evening! The seafood was exceptional! He and his small business is a real asset to the community! You won’t be disappointed!!!!“

“While the host here could use some work, (just sitting out on the front on his cell phone), the rest of our experience was good. However, we stopped by a few nights later to eat here again and were told we weren’t able to eat inside, even though there was nobody seated inside. Other than that, we really enjoyed our experience here. Our server disappeared halfway through dinner, but was quickly taken over by somebody else and they never missed a beat. The food was absolutely fantastic. We split the two meals, and they even had pre-split them for us before they came out. Highly recommend! Great backyard area if it’s not too hot!“

“We went to the Black Molly Grill to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had wonderful meals, ribeye and a shrimp special. Both were excellent. Our server, Christine, went above and beyond and ensured that we had everything we needed. We were so impressed with the food and service that we went with friends the following week.“

“I love beach vacations but I’m allergic to shellfish. Usually eating in a touristy, beach town is difficult but I swear Kyle knew every possible point of cross contamination on this menu. I had a fantastic Tuna Poke Bowl, my husband loved the taco salad, and my kids loved their spicy tuna roll and wave burger. Thank you to Kyle. Thank you to the restaurant for training their staff on allergens. We will probably go again because the food was fantastic and I feel safe there.“

“We come to St Augustine several times a year with our dogs. This is always our #1 restaurant and eat there a few times each trip. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. Would give it a 10 our of 10!“

“Ordered shrimp and grits... $21 for a large spoon of grits and not sure what was mixed in the gravy , and 5 small shrimp.. Awful tasting and not enough for even a small kid. So disgusted. Granddaughter got chicken po boy she said was good. I sure wouldn't choose this place for seafood..“

“My sister and I visited Grouper Shack on 8/1/2026. The food, the service and the staff were excellent! This was our 3rd visit, and we have no complaints. I look forward to going back in the near future, so yes, I recommend this restaurant. Btw, thank you Scott for going above and beyond!“

“Whitney and Rob were excellent host and the reason why cocktail bars in this town need to exist. Likewise, their food complements their cocktail menu so well that if you don’t get food you’re missing out. I can’t recommend this place enough and I am blown away by how much they’ve exceeded my expectations of what they’re here to offer to Saint Augustine.“

“This place is a spectacular sleeper. Hidden away and far too unknown. I’ve lived in the area 15 years and never been here. The food is over the top amazing! Portions are generous. The ambience is spectacular. You get to see planes land and takeoff while enjoying incredible food. What fun we had! Seriously - go there. It’s one of those amazing places where you hope the community supports it regularly because it’s worth it and you want it to be around for a LONG TIME. It hit a 100% on all the things we enjoy. My mom and I could not have eaten a second order. We shared one meal and there was more than we could eat. - We ordered bread to start off. . . . It took just a little bit longer to come to the table, that’s because it was fresh baked! The butter with the herbs was so good. Dipping oil with amazing seasoning and the right amount of salt. We met Christian, the chef. He is from Chili. He has passion about the food he makes. Mikey is on the kitchen killing it with him! Sam was our server. Fantastic attention to our wants and needs during the whole meal. Seriously, holiday parties. After work unwind. Just the perfect venue - Not too far to drive from Nocatee. #HangarOne #StAugustineAirport“
