My wife and I had been traveling all day and had just gotten done walking the beach. We were going to go out when she turns to me and says “let’s just grab pizza”. Sure ok great.

Let me tell you… we were blown away. Having lived in NYC for several years and sampling as much pizza as we could while there… we were pleasantly surprised with this pizza spot and can’t wait for pizza night the next time we are back in SA.

The size of the pizza was great, the toppings were perfectly proportioned, and the cheese…. Man what a blend. It was just a fantastic beach pizza. Bravo!

It gets an EASY 5 stars from us given the location and the quality of the pizza. Just totally unexpected.

It’s a small establishment, so I definitely recommend calling ahead and placing the order to give them time. There were definitely pizza walking up and ordering and expecting to grab and go…. This isn’t little Caesar’s.“

There were two small parking lots on the side as well, free parking! Extremely vegan and gluten free friendly, lots of vegetarian options as well. I tried a handful of things off the menu and it was all fantastic. Greatly appreciated the mushroom latte options! Beet poke bowl was perfect for the beach, so much flavor and the beets were soft and perfect. It did well in the cooler for hours, although the takeout box became limp and soggy from being inside the cooler. Don't be fooled by the photos, this place is a hidden gem. I would honestly say it's the best vegan food that I've ever had in florida. I would ditch the Daytona beach / New Smyrna areas completely solely for this restaurant“

“My husband and I stopped in on a recommendation for their sandwiches. We walked into heaven and had a grand experience of tastebud delight. You can’t talk like this until you experience it for yourself. It’s a MUST stop my husband says and I agree. The selection of sandwiches was limited when we arrived and we tried two and both were a 10 out of 10!!!! The hours are most days 7a to 2p: recommended to get there earlier for more options but it doesn’t really matter. Try whatever is available. We had a chocolate dessert with meringue inside! My husband had a latte and I a hot chocolate. All Delicious!! There was water available in the dining area which was a nice added touch. The cleanliness of this cafe is meticulously cared for. “I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. We’ve visited St. Augustine many times, but this was our first time discovering this incredible restaurant, and what a find! We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and stumbled upon The Collage online. Thinking it would be quiet on a Wednesday night, we didn’t make a reservation. Despite being fully booked, Megan, the restaurant manager, went out of her way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. Our server, Franco, was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with the beef carpaccio and watermelon salad; both beautifully prepared. For our main course, we each had the 8oz filet topped with gorgonzola sauce, and every bite was mouthwatering. Between courses, we were treated to a refreshing raspberry sorbet to cleanse our palates—a lovely touch. For dessert, we shared a warm pound cake with raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream, paired with perfectly made espressos. The ambiance was quaint, cozy, and romantic,ideal for a special occasion like ours. We especially loved that the menu changes regularly, offering something new to look forward to each time. “We ate at the Purple Olive for the first time this past Saturday night. It will certainly not be our last time. What an incredible dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is so delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server Jennifer was on point. Our water glasses were never empty, she gave us great tips about the menu, and struck the perfect balance between being responsive and giving us space. I had the macadamia crusted salmon, and I cannot honestly say it was the best salmon I’ve ever had. The flavor was delicious and it was cooked perfectly!“
