“We went yesterday for some drinks and snacks after the beach. The calamari was super fantastic. So tender and lightly fried. Best I ever had in St. Augustine and we have tried a lot of places. We also had the fish dip which was excellent too served with fried bread and cocktail sauce which was amazing. Frankie is always a great bartender. We have not been there since they gave it a fave lift. We loved it!!!“

“My wife and i got our wedding cake from here and that thing was UNREAL.All our guests were talking about this for days after the event. We got to do an awesome mix of chocolate, the Floridian, coconut, and Chantilly cake. This stuff is great quality and I can’t say thank you enough!“

“We frequent St. Augustine for an evening out about once a month from Mandarin (Jacksonville). We had the grilled mahi with grit cakes and grilled chicken spring risotto for dinner tonight. Fantastic food (kudos to the chef) and great attentive service. I also enjoyed 2 of their Manhattans which were as good as the ones that I had in New York!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!“

“My favorite location for a healthy or gluten free breakfast in St. Augustine. I had a lovely veggie omelet (hold sweet potato) and my spouse had the gluten free pancakes with a side of eggs.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options clearly labeled. They are very welcoming of dietary restrictions and will modify the menu for you if possible.“

“I ordered from Murf's today and what a fantastic experience! I walked in the door and was immediately engulfed in the smell of all of my favorite comfort foods. Devon and Lindsay were there to greet me with pleasant smiles and warm welcomes. The food was excellent and the people were just as great if you could believe that! I will surely be telling everyone I know to come and check out this great locally owned spot!“

“First time hearing of and eating at Mellow Mushroom. The staff is very amazing and friendly and pizza is top notch! And this is coming from a New Yorker:).The hours of operation were convenient. I was looking for a place to eat late at night and this place popped up a few block from my hotel. If I visit St Augustine again, I will definitely eat here and will eat at other Mellow Mushrooms in other states.“

“My wife and I had been meaning to try this restaurant for years because we’d heard good things about it, and we finally did tonight. It surpassed all our expectations. We arrived at around 7 pm, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded and was calm and quiet, very good for conversation. The wait staff attended us well and made helpful wine and menu selections. I had a great glass of wine, and my wife had a sangria (they don’t offer mixed drinks). We ordered two appetizers and split a main dish. All were superb! The prices were on the high side, but more than worth it for the taste and the nice atmosphere, and the great wait staff. Nice artwork on the walls , too. We will be back and have already recommended it to friends.“

“We stopped in for a late lunch based on reading reviews and were not disappointed. Fabulous pizza, reasonable prices and friendly service. We tasted some of their mac-n-cheese specialties [they're great by the way], but were too full to order any. Even though we are not from St. Augustine, we may need to find an excuse to drive back!“

“Stopped here by myself for a quick bite. I had the rueben dog. It was the best hot dog I ever ate in my life. All beef cooked perfectly, the bun was so soft and warm, the cheese and slaw just melted in my mouth. I only hope to get back one day for another one.“

“The food was pretty tasty. The only thing I thought was odd is that what I was charged for is different then what is listed on the physical menu I received, specifically regarding the drinks, as the entree I ordered was based off market price and therefore not listed outright. The drinks are already priced at a premium on the menu. So to charge more without acknowledgement is misleading and not great business, imo. Some may argue if you already willing to pay a certain price, then what is another extra dollar or two. However, this should be the consumers choice with what one is willing to pay, not at the discretion of the establishment. The servers need to inform customers of the price changes, or a note needs to be added to the menu, while new ones are being printed/ changed.“

“It was my first time having lunch at Ned’s Southside Kitchen and it was a 10/10 for me. I had the Portabello Melt and the house seasoned shrooms were incredibly delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu. It all looks good.“

“Visited with friends last week to the new location. We were all disappointed. Like other reviewers have stated, very loud, sterile atmosphere, cafeteria like. Tables too close together. Definitely liked the old place better. Food was great like always. Server probably had too many tables, as he was running around like a madman. Probably will not be returning, such a shame. This was our weekly girls get together.“

“Several choices of fresh, quality seafood cooked perfectly and served with tasty, non-common side dishes. Save room for the owner’s dessert of the day - coconut pie was a-mazing! Add in the bonuses of smiling, polite, efficient waitstaff and moderate prices and you have yourself an A+ meal!“

“I was on my way to another cafe in the area but decided to try this establishment instead, so glad I did! Their flourless chocolate torte exceeded my expectations and the coffee is sourced from a local roaster. I would definitely return to this cafe during my next visit to the area.Dietary restrictions: They have flourless and vegan options available.“

“Thank you for such an amazing experience! I am still enjoying that delicious bread pudding. I had the combo with Sweet Potato hummus Pita and the Black Bean & Fire roasted soup as well as the Chai with oatmilk. My entire meal was ??. My family enjoyed their meals too.Not only that, the atmosphere and all the people who helped us were kind, warm and patient. “Driving up the coast of Florida, stayed overnight in St Augustine and had lunch here. Excellent choice! I had a sweet chili lime shrimp quesadilla, delicious! They also serve “Stubborn” fountain drinks, another of my favorites, well known on the west coast. The Root Beer and Agave Vanilla Creme soda are my favorites. The menu has many choices from tacos to burgers, salads and sea food choices.“

“Good but… service was slow at the counter. They were nice to accommodate an order of just scrambled eggs, toast and tea which wasn’t a menu item. Brewed coffee was tasty but not hot enough. I am sure they would have remedied that if I had asked. Atmosphere lacked comfort.Nonetheless we recommend this shop.“

“Le Macaron is a must-visit spot in Saint Augustine! Their French pastries are hands down the best in town. I absolutely adore this place in downtown. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Not to mention, their assortment of macarons is amazing!“

“Went for an engagement brunch celebration, private room upstairs for about 20-30 guests. It's a Spanish (Spain) Cuban restaurant and it overlooks 2 gardens, 1 on site and 1 across the street. The pork was moist and tender no need to cut into to with a knife black beans were not overly salted true perfection, the key lime pie ???, I swear they had lime trees in the kitchen the had a rich lime taste but not overly tangy and the consistency was just right just firm enough and i stole my wife's flan which wonderfully syrupy with raspberry fruit shaved/crumbledParking: Downtown St Augustine is a delightful historical area and as such with the large amount of tourists and also local students, and general employees that work in the area parking is a bit tricky, the biggest parking lot is by the Old fort on the water, and there are other little areas: both small lots and street parking, every point of interest in that area , (museum, university, fort) are all a 5-10 min walk. The furthest walk from parking at the fort is to the Distillery and Winery which is about 17-20 mins, I've also noticed people park across the bridge that goes to A1A and walk over.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu“

“The food here was excellent. I started with the chowder fries, different but very good. Maybe a little more chowder.I had the lobster ravioli with lots of yummy flavor. My wife had the tortellini Alfredo and has high standards for her Alfredo sauce and this measured up.Everything was excellent, however the service was too notch. The server, Christine, was very attentive and accommodating. On top of the that, busser was excellent as well. Cleared our plates timely, polite, and also very attentive, a hard worker.“
