“This place appears child friendly but I went last night with my hubby for a date. Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had in my life. Ceviche app was also chef’s kiss. My husband had the Chicken and Hoecakes dish. Again, 🤯! The desert was okay but everything else including staff were phenomenal. Atmosphere was nice, dim lighting surrounds you in raw architecture with an intimate feel. Drinks were also incredibly good. If you’re on the fence, get off it and go!“

“This is one of the very best Sushi restaurants that i have ever eaten at. The service was spectacular and the selection of sushi and sashimi was stupendous. I have eaten in many Sushi restaurants and I have to say this is by far my favorite . Whenever we are in St. Augustine I know we will eat there again. “The guy at the Italian deli next door said this place was great so we walked over while we waited for our catering order from the deli. We were immediately greeted and ordered saki which arrived quickly. Then the sushi chef gave us a free appetizer of tuna tataki that was amazing! They subbed avocado for cream cheese in our double salmon roll and it was so fresh and delicious! Definitely check this place out when you are in the area!“

“A True Hidden Gem in St. Augustine The Collage exceeded all our expectations. We’ve visited St. Augustine many times, but this was our first time discovering this incredible restaurant, and what a find! We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and stumbled upon The Collage online. Thinking it would be quiet on a Wednesday night, we didn’t make a reservation. Despite being fully booked, Megan, the restaurant manager, went out of her way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. Our server, Franco, was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We began with the beef carpaccio and watermelon salad; both beautifully prepared. For our main course, we each had the 8oz filet topped with gorgonzola sauce, and every bite was mouthwatering. Between courses, we were treated to a refreshing raspberry sorbet to cleanse our palates—a lovely touch. For dessert, we shared a warm pound cake with raspberry coulis and fresh whipped cream, paired with perfectly made espressos. The ambiance was quaint, cozy, and romantic,ideal for a special occasion like ours. We especially loved that the menu changes regularly, offering something new to look forward to each time. “I make my own French-style croissants and macarons at home, so it’s rare that I find a shop that can meet my expectations for pastries. These did! Great lamination and airy inside, but enough substance that one will fill you up for breakfast. They are also made with French flour which means my gluten-sensitive (not gf!) family could enjoy them.
Their gluten free raspberry macaron was also amazing. I spent around $5/croissant, and $8 for the big macaron.
Shoutout to the lady who took my order for being very helpful (and having a lovely French accent!)

“I have gone to Ned’s for several years, nearly every week. I would truly consider it the crown jewel of restaurants in St. Augustine. There’s something for everyone, and the portions are huge. My family and I consider it our go-to and almost a second home when you want the home style cooking, without the necessity to do your own dishes. “I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!“

It was a little loud- they were playing hard rock and metal which I loved (though not sure my older parents were thrilled.)
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
We all ordered the FT Burger. Generally, I don’t have bacon, onions or sauce on my burgers but decided to try it as-is (also has Havarti cheese and pickle slices.) it came cooked exactly medium rare as ordered.
This was one of the tastiest burgers I have ever had, without exaggeration, and I’ve had some amazing ones. The natural-cut fries were great as well.

“While the host here could use some work, (just sitting out on the front on his cell phone), the rest of our experience was good. However, we stopped by a few nights later to eat here again and were told we weren’t able to eat inside, even though there was nobody seated inside. Other than that, we really enjoyed our experience here. Our server disappeared halfway through dinner, but was quickly taken over by somebody else and they never missed a beat. The restaurant is beautiful, the food is so delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server Jennifer was on point.
