“Great casual taco joint in St. Augustine. Great Brewery adjacent to it too. As their specialty tacos have a lot going on. I highly recommend eating in rather than to going it, unless you're getting simple street tacos, which are the best in town.“

“So the hubby and I came to Cinco de Mayo's at Palencia for lunch. We decided to have a few margaritas. The bartender tells us the prices for happy hour margaritas. Turns out she gave us the wrong information. She indicated the margaritas were $5.99; however, they were $9.99. When we received the bill, the error was discovered. She apologized, but the Manager, Steven, refused to honor the original happy hour price. His excuse was that the bartender was new. He then proceeded to insult us by stating that if we didn't have the money to pay, that isn't his problem. My husband and I have been regular patrons at this establishment for at least 1.5 years and have never received such disrespectful treatment. We most definitely will not be returning and will be attempting to contact the owners of the business. If this is now they treat regular customers, I'd hate to see what happens to anyone else. Cinco de Mayo you just lost 2 customers and maybe more.“

“My family has been coming to this restaurant for years and have enjoyed every visit! The Pupusas are absolutely amazing and we never leave St. Augestine without stopping by. Hard working owner and fantastic fresh, homemade food! I will forever recommend this place to anyone visiting St. Augustine!!!“

“This place has a great variety of Latin food! I am a Latin food lover and tasting the Latin flavors was a beautiful experience! I had the Arepa bowl. It was a lot of delicious food! The prices was $15. My husband had tacos ?. We enjoyed this place. We visited it at lunch time. The place has a beautiful view of the marine. This place is perfect to visit with family and friends.“

“Sorry to say that I was disappointed with the food this time. It seems that after they renovated they had to raise their prices. However, the food was not as good as it used to be. I got the stuffed avocado. It was an avocado stuffed with what seems to be canned crab meat with four very small shrimp on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce plus One basic drink. Not appetizing. The cost $39. I hope they either lower their prices or improve the quality of their food. PS : the service was excellent!“

“Visited El Potro on a recommendation of a friend that lives here and was not disappointed. We had a group of seven and the service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food and beverages, which says a lot for a large and diverse group. Parking was easy and plentiful. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to town.
Vegetarian options: Our group had multiple vegetarians in it and we all thoroughly enjoyed the dishes that we had. For those that are vegan, they have some delicious mushroom tacos.“

“stopped in for a snack & a tasty beverage! Cute design inside, service was prompted & our guy was super friendly.
We got nachos, with shredded beef ( burger) it was good, had good flavor but next time I'll go with grilled chicken. We also gas the Acapulco style civichi, interesting, but good. It has a sweetness that threw me at 1st, but I'd definitely order it again. Beers were tall & super cold!“

“Food is good but there’s a discrepancy on price EVERY time we go there! The board says $4.99 for an avocado taco but it rings up as $5.99 ($6.38 with tax) and when I brought it to her attention, she offered to give me the .40 back. Ummm, no! It’s a $1 more than what’s on the menu board in the restaurant. Also, the last time we went there, it said there’s a discount for using cash but when it was rung up, there was no discount. It’s just frustrating.“

Dietary restrictions: My cousin has celiac disease and they offered us different options, thanks to which we were able to spend an incredible afternoon.
Kid-friendliness: My nephew was very happy with his dish.

“Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend stopping by here for lunch, dinner, OR takeout!!! We’ve tried all styles of tacos and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The surprise to me is the “griller” which reminded me of a Crunchwrap. Only difference is Taco Bell wants to grow up and have something this delicious. The Griller (had one with steak and one with chicken) will take care of ALL hunger pains and leave you eager to get back for more. Folks that run this shop are real cool people, stop in and say hello!“
