“We popped in here on a whim. Tucked down a little, cute street, fostering a wonderful vibe. It was about to sprinkle(maybe..Florida, ya know) but the owner said if we wanted to chance it, would could sit outside, as the wait time for an inside table was over an hour. We decided to chance it. So glad we did! Best chicken piccata I’ve ever had. Generous “wife portions” of wine, hah. And the food came very quickly. Really enjoyed the owner’s hospitality as well. “Just thought I was gonna go into this little joint. I was pretty fooled when I stepped in to a totally different atmosphere, a place where all the locals come, and it was packed, sat at the bar Andrew the bartender took care of us. He was amazing. He was on top of his game. Nothing unusual for him whatever he suggested was excellent service excellent food excellent wine excellent I drank sangria from Spain so did everybody else in the place? It’s my new go to it’s a hidden gem and I really thought this was just a joint and didn’t know if I was actually gonna eat here but was T fooled thank you so much guys for your food and service will bring all my friends and family to you.“

“I have eaten at Piesano's twice, and each time it was awesome! The food is absolutely wonderful - today, my party and I enjoyed a cheese calzone, shrimp scampi, and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. All were excellent. And the service and ambiance are exceptional. It is very quiet and comfortable, and the wait staff are patient and kind and don't mind if you take your time. Not many restaurants are quiet and relaxing these days. The prices are fair, as well, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. Highly recommended!“

“We were visiting St Augustine for a couple of days and both of our dinners were from Carmelo’s pizza. The first night we had supreme special pizza. Yum! Last night was lasagna and salad with artichoke, peppers, feta cheese and more. Sorry didn’t remember the name of it. It also was delicious! If we come back to St Augustine, we will be eating here. Not only because the food is delicious but everyone is happy and really great at customer service. Jean - on the left both times on the phone with our orders but also in person makes you feel like you are the most important customer in the shop. I am a manager in customer service and the service she gave to me and the customer service that the team gives each other is outstanding. This is how a business is run: great food, customer service and team work! Thank you Jean and everyone for making our anniversary weekend special and delicious.“

“On a whim we decided to get Pizza for dinner. We easily placed our order, redeemed some points for extra items. Within minutes of placing the order, the store called to let us know they were out of mushrooms. They agreed to some substitutions without additional charges, in went the order. Within about 20 minutes we get a call from Holly, the delivery specialist, with Door Dash. Holly called to confirm the address (of the resort we're staying at) and as I went outside to meet them, they were almost at the door already! I gave Holly an extra tip for their efforts. Overall, loved the food and delivery service, we will most definitely order from this location again in the future!!“
