“Came here 15 years ago and it was the most remembered restaurant on the trip north from Florida to Maine. Best southern food I’ve had anywhere. Fresh and local, home made and cooked right. If you’re traveling on rt 17 this place is worth the stop!“
“I'm giving 5 stars for the flavor of the food. Also good portion sizes. Curry is full of flavor. Seafood with fixins is so good! Served with potatoes, corn, egg and sausage, with seasoned just right. The cornbread was perfect. Had seasonings that were perfect to clean the palette. We will be going here again! It's more of a take out place. That's the only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere.“
“This is the first place we went to when we moved to Kingsland two years ago and it quickly became our favorite place. The staff is phenomenal and go above and beyond. They remember their customers and their favorite orders, if you’re new they welcome you with open arms no matter who you are. The food is ALWAYS delicious, I’ve never had a bad meal. They do a lot for and in the community which is another great thing. They give back in many different ways and are usually one of the first establishments to step up and help the community when in need. From football Sundays to trivia to bingo and on, there is definitely something for everyone and they hit the mark EVERYTIME.“
“Tried on a whim, first meal in King's Bay, based on other reviews. The building was plain and decor was plain and floors dingy. The food was great though. The service was also great. Fresh tasting and decently priced. We got there early at 5ish, maybe, and it was almost empty; however the placed filled up quick. Food came out fast. Must be a local's secret.“
“After a noon meal, we decided to cap it off with a slice of blueberry and a slice of strawberry cheesecake at the Riverside Cafe. The pies were scrumptious, and packed with the most blueberries that I’ve ever seen on a slice of cheesecake. The service was great and the view was even greater. We look forward to visiting again soon.“
“Stopped in for lunch one day ! Everyone is super friendly! Food came out quickly and was really good! We had fish oysters and shrimp! Portions were HUGE! Cool little outdoor dining area ! Great little hidden gem ! Always great to find a locally owned place to spend your dollars !“
“We were travelling through and looking for a restaurant in St Marys to take some good friend to. There was a short wait to get a table for four. The restaurant was busy but service was great and the food was excellent. Certainly would go there again next time we're travelling to Florida.“
“When it comes to my chicken wing cravings, Gator Fish and Chicken is the real MVP. Their lemon pepper wings are basically a taste party in my mouth, especially when paired with either Kraft's savory BBQ sauce or Duke's Alabama white sauce... (Or why not both, which is like the ultimate flavor bomb!)“
“The owner is very knowledgeable and very friendly.. we bought alligator, flounder, shrimp and crab cakes. She gutted, scaled and deheaded the flounder then she stuffed them with crab cake for us… ran those puppies back to where we we’re staying and baked them up! Awesome! A mix of local and not local seafood. We’ll definitely visit again!“
“The food was AWESOME and the lady who waited on us was super!! We would return here for seafood and pleasant staff. We will be pleased to tell everyone of our experience here and awesome staff!! Thank you so much for being a class " A " restaurant.“
