50 Best Pizza Restaurants near Fruit Cove

“I have been a regular here for a while. I don’t know how to title this review but if I could I would call it, “How not to be a Karen in a Restaurant.”
I come here during the week almost daily to sit at the bar and get work done that I had no time for during my school day. The happy hour prices are also a great bonus!
I come here because the staff is warm and like family, and just as important, the food is awesome and you can tell that the GM Zee takes pride in all aspects of this wonderful spot.
Today I had to take a half day from work and had the opportunity to come in early for lunch. I also must disclose I have extensive hospitality management experience, and that I’m not an entitled human being.
I saw something today that should be on everyone’s DON’T EVER DO THIS list.
I can’t help but pay attention to what’s going on around me. I was at the bar when I noticed a scene starting. 2 women and a child were dining with one of the best servers I’d ever had. Apparently their order was running behind. The server was on top of it and got Zee (The GM) involved. They had ordered an item that takes a long time to cook and an app that should’ve come out faster than it did. Both Zee and the server apologized and offered other items while they waited.
Here’s the WTH Karen part. This woman jumped up and chased the GM down to tell him he was rude. I’m sorry, offering to help is not rude. The man has a game face because he cares. Her entitled self got up and yelled at him in public. I’m embarrassed for her and how our society is devolving. Don’t be a Karen.“

“My favorite is the Meat lover pizza, but also, I've tried the Pappardelle Bolognese, and it is out of this world. Great atmosphere and service. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.“

Every one of their stores seems to be connected technically so they know my favorite order when i call and they recognize the phone number. “This was my favorite pizza joint until recently, after roughly ~5 years of ordering. Not because of bad food, rather because of two unfortunate experiences. It is apparent that their delivery zones change based on who is working and what night you call them. An order placed on 08/25 ends up getting cancelled 15 minutes before anticipated delivery citing that “we’ve never delivered to your area”. No contact made when I submitted a feedback ticket on their website. An order placed on 09/02 delivers with zero issues. A friendly conversation with the delivery person who has made countless deliveries to my house was just as puzzled. Order placed on 09/09 is never made. After two hours of no delivery, I call the store to be told “we tried to call you 6 times to let you know that we don’t deliver to you” and “sorry you didn’t call us sooner to figure that out”. Anyways, I’m seeking suggestions for good delivery to the Del Río area of Mandarin.“

“I was walking into hair salon, (around1130am) when i noticed a very young man get out of a grey nissian, he had a CiCi uniforn on, and bottle water in hand. There was trash on ground in front of store. He stopped, picked it up, walked it to trash can and proceeded into restaurant. You don't see this now a days with these younger generations or older folks. Your facility should be proud and thankful to have such a hard working young man, kid who goes way above and beyond. Too think he did this and hadn't even started his shift yet. (From what i gathered, looked like parent dropping him off) This boy should be noticed.“

“I genuinely did not expect to love this place this much. I’m usually not even a pizza person, but the Kadai Goat pizza completely changed my mind. It was sooo goatedddd, easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The flavors were incredible and you could actually taste the Indian fusion in every bite. 100/10, no hesitation.

And then the puffs… omg. The bun with butter and jam, the chai, and the FALOODA??? Omggggggg, istg. Every single thing we tried was so good and had that proper Indian flavor that just hits differently. Nothing felt like it was trying too hard to be “Indian fusion” , it genuinely tasted like all the things we grew up loving, just done in such a fun way.

I live in NJ, so yes, this is definitely a trip for me, but would I come all the way here just for this? A BIGGG yes. This is probably one of the best Indian-fusion spots I’ve had in the US, and I already know I’m coming back. Huge credit to the chef Albert because every single thing deserves appreciation. Hands down, this chef deserves a toast.“

“I’ll just put it out there. Renna’s pizza is amazing. We have loved their pizza since… forever. For many years I would literally order pizza on my way home from work every Friday and bring it home to the fam. Then Covid happened and they closed. It was a sad day. But they are back!!! Taking over the old Tijuana Flats store front in the Publix shopping center on Southside and Baymeadows. A great spot! The pizza recipe is the same. Lots of the menu items are the same (I’m looking at you, cannolis). 🙏 The atmosphere needs a little warmth, I think. It seems a bit too bright and sterile. But I’m not noticing too much of the super white walls while I’m scarfing down delicious pizza. Kudos to the manager that night we showed up with a party of 14. He pulled all the available tables together for us so we could sit together, even though they already had another large party there before us. We were going to leave but he quickly accommodated us. They were very kind and had great service. I don’t know if my wallet or waistline can afford pizza every Friday night like the old days, but we are thrilled to have Renna’s back in the ‘hood.

“The staff were incredibly kind and professional and the pizza was delicious! My husband and I had stopped in after going to game stop and I accidentally forgot our gamestop bag when we left. We didn't realize it until almost 10 minutes later. When I called them, the gentleman said he had tried getting to us before we left and was standing outside with our bag when we returned! We will certainly be returning for future pizza nights!“
