“We were in the area and decided to stop by, and we’re so glad we did. Allie was our server, and she did not disappoint. Her customer service and knowledge of the menu were outstanding. We started with the crab cake—wow! The flavors were incredible, and the portion size was perfect for an appetizer. The red wine was served perfectly chilled. For our main course, we had the bison short rib with fresh mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the difference here—they specialize in fresh, made-to-order food with no freezers or microwaves, and it shows. This will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I had the best smash burger and my bf had the OG cheesesteak, which he considered to be the best in the entire state. We also got their limeade and sweet potato fries, which were incredible. “OMG I traveled to Jacksonville for a conference this past weekend and someone suggested to stop here for lunch. I’m not a huge big meal eater and will typically get smaller portions/appetizers. I ordered hummus and lemon chicken rice soup. Let me tell you this was the BEST hummus I’ve ever had in my life. So fresh, the flavor was fantastic, and the pita bread was warm. The soup was flavorful and filling for me. I’m gonna be dreaming about that hummus until next year when I can visit again. I’m telling everyone! I want to try even more of their cuisine. I can't complain too much about the atmosphere considering it's a sports bar, I just wish they played more sports on the tvs. The service was also ok, although there was only one waitress working the floor and bar so I can understand why she wasn't the most attentive. “This was our second time coming down from North Carolina to try this place. I have to say it will not be our last. Mrs Butta really knows what she's doing in the chicken. I tried to get her to come back home with me just so she could cook for me everyday 😂. But really I have to say this place is truly a hidden gem. Everytime we go we're day kids and order a plate of everything on the menu. I haven't had anything bad whatsoever.“

“I was in town from Savannah GA for a wedding at 2pm 22nov25 at St Juan Catholic Church. The Georgia Bulldogs were playing Charlotte at 12:45pm Hurricanes was one of the closest restaurant/ sports bars to the church. The staff was very accommodating., they put the game on one of the TVs I was able to watch the first quarter & still make the wedding in time. After the wedding I stopped back by to catch the last 05:35 of the game. A staffer custom made me a side salad that was sooo good with blue cheese & bacon bits. I left for the country club for a post wedding dinner. I recommend Hurricanes & am likely to go there again when I am in Fruit Cove or Switzerland Florida.“
