“My family has been coming to this First Watch for many years. We love this location, not to mention the service is always amazing. Jonah is our favorite! He is attentive, makes sure everything is good and remembers us when we come in! It is also nice that Loren, the GM, comes to the table to make sure that the service and food is great. I have seen him on multiple occasions jumping in to deliver food or help when his team is busy! He is a true leader. We will keep coming back to this First Watch for many more years to come!“

“My wife, my sister, and I had a wonderful meal at the Bartram Park First Watch restaurant restaurant! It was our “one day early” Valentine’s Day meal together. It was a five star meal and five star wait- staff! Without knowing that I was fumbling with my phone I mistakenly somehow posted review with no comments. It was definitely a five star meal from the friendly and hospitable welcome through the delicious meal and the flawless Service by the excellent waitress. If possible, please delete the mistaken three star review no comment review.“

Pros: Food was excellent. Server was good, but seemed overwhelmed.

Cons: The kitchen staff was ill-prepared for the holiday crowd. The food took almost 1 hour to come out and only 2.5 of 4 meals came out together. It took another ~20 minutes for the other 1.5 meals to come out. Slow or no refills and no table check-ins. The server was very apologetic though.

I am giving four stars because, despite that particular visit, I think on a normal occasion the service would be fine. Also, the staff was very kind, respectful and apologetic of the slow service. The server requested, and received approval for, a discount for my bill from management for the slow service.“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“Stopped by this Waffle House heading to a cruise and was immediately greeted by an amazing server named Kat/Cat. She was pleasant, friendly and extremely inviting. Her personality was everything. She constantly checked on us and was so charismatic. The food was actually perfect. Everything was right on time and this experience made our day. Perfect way to start a vacation. I frequent Waffle House in Dallas and this visit to #71 in Jacksonville Fl near the airport was by far the best, thanks to Kat/Cat! “This place was literally a 4 min walk from our hotel. We were greeted by the owner & she was as friendly and efficient as it gets.

Our food came quickly - hot & fresh. Prices were reasonable (especially these days) and portion size was 👍👍.

We're in FL (visiting in-laws) for another 7 days and we'll be back

They exceeded my expectations since I was nervous to go back to the restaurant without my original service animal. I have another one and she did amazing for her first time. So when it is quiet and you and your family finally get to go and eat together for a year now here you can not hear your families speak to you at your table

Last time we were here we did not have the greatest waitress either
Took a long time to get our coffees then took 10 mins just to get our creamer
