“My wife, my sister, and I had a wonderful meal at the Bartram Park First Watch restaurant restaurant! It was our “one day early” Valentine’s Day meal together. It was a five star meal and five star wait- staff! Without knowing that I was fumbling with my phone I mistakenly somehow posted review with no comments. It was definitely a five star meal from the friendly and hospitable welcome through the delicious meal and the flawless Service by the excellent waitress. If possible, please delete the mistaken three star review no comment review.“

Pros: Food was excellent. Server was good, but seemed overwhelmed.

Cons: The kitchen staff was ill-prepared for the holiday crowd. The food took almost 1 hour to come out and only 2.5 of 4 meals came out together. It took another ~20 minutes for the other 1.5 meals to come out. Slow or no refills and no table check-ins. The server was very apologetic though.

I am giving four stars because, despite that particular visit, I think on a normal occasion the service would be fine. Also, the staff was very kind, respectful and apologetic of the slow service. The server requested, and received approval for, a discount for my bill from management for the slow service.“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“The new staff member that are the servers are wonderful. I went to Pier 151 when it was open prior to new management and going back was hard. However Michelle, Samara, and Miea are wonderful. They exceeded my expectations since I was nervous to go back to the restaurant without my original service animal. I have another one and she did amazing for her first time. So when it is quiet and you and your family finally get to go and eat together for a year now here you can not hear your families speak to you at your table

The coffee, sugar cream in the corner caused a back up. One woman stood there talking, nobody else could get coffee are the stuff for coffees. Fruit was good and fresh, taste was good on all items. Overall good. Butter needs to come with waffles!“

“So Carolina was our server and she was a wonderful delight and she provided excellent customer service, has an excllent memory and was absouly enjoyable person. Food was good though the bacon and sausage felt a little under cooked. Gravy biscuit looked like they only put 1 table scoop on 2 slices of bread But there French toast and waffles were top tier thick and delicious recommend the pecan syrup.
