I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. Went there at 2:30 in the morning and it was just the best food I’ve ever had good atmosphere good people good customer service. The coffee was the best had all in all Other than a 2 o’clock breakfast it was damn good

Our waitress Joy was amazing at this location deserves a raise we came back because of her friendliness , that 3rd time we came back we brung someone else , ❤ it was clean, cooks made good omlets . Please dnt change we found our new spot. And thank u Joy for being Joyful God Bless..frm Rebecca, Von, Karl , great service .

The friendly and professional servers provide excellent service, with some even being particularly sweet, attentive, and caring. The restaurant maintains a cozy atmosphere, with a focus on breakfast foods that are cooked to perfection. The food is delicious and comes out quick and hot, exactly to order. The All-Star Breakfast with Chicken is a highlight. While the booth cleaning could be improved, the overall experience is pleasant.
