“This was my first time here while visiting my Nephew and his new Bride. We came here to eat and although I’m allergic to shellfish, I had an amazing experience and dinner! Normally seafood restaurants have a couple of dishes that someone who is allergic to shellfish, like myself can eat and they’re usually just, “okay?!?” But here at Whitey’s they have a great many non-shellfish options and they’re amazing! I had the best seasoned and most tender Angus Sirloin steak! It was so delicious that I let everyone else in our party taste it as well, and we were ALL amazed at how delicious, tender and large it was! I will be recommending Whitey’s to everyone that I know, for when they visit the area from Atlanta where I’m from. That way, their friends and family who are allergic to shellfish or simply want the best steak they’ll ever eat, can’t stop in and get one for themselves! Y’all have a fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere and excellent food choices! A++++++++++++++++“

“Typical food for this type of establishment. The food came out well prepared and in a very reasonable amount of time. The wait staff we experienced were really great and attentive. Would recommend, especially the value offered here now as opposed to many fast food places of late that seem to be set on gouging their clientele!“

Listen I ran across this place, and have absolutely NO regrets.
Atmosphere is great, and the music matches for sure.
Service has been attentive, drinks are filled and refills are asked for.
Food has gotten the highest rating so far at a SOLID EASY 8.5/10. Add this, and maybe a little bit of this taken off. it’s minuscule.
This place is a golden gem in the area. Great food, great service, great mixed drinks. Do I need to continue?! Stop reading and go now.
Our server was Francis she was 10/10 bartenders didn’t catch her name, but continue making all the drinks lol.

“This is my favorite place in Green Cove Springs. The staff is friendly, there's a good wine selection and the beer is cold...what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, music from local musicians on Friday nights. Enjoy!“
“Went for a work function. I have been here before with a friend. It is a good place to grab a drink and talk to someone. Very cozy. Not a place to go and watch the games, or play games. It is what it is, a bar. It does have a fantastic view as it's on the St. Johns river. Restrooms always stocked and clean. Watch your step as there are plenty of elevation changes.“
“They have a drive through that’s open late, have great priced disposable vapes. The bar is cool too. Great selection of liquors.they also have the wraps I use too so it’s very convenient.
Parking: When blanding blvd is backed up it’s very hard to get in and out the parkinglot“

Most customers are always men ( I walk by there often but I don’t see women very often) and they enjoy smoking inside and outside so you will feel like you are in Albania ?? The staff are friendly. I always go their outside table because I don’t like the smell of cigarettes“

“We had a 40th birthday party here and everything was perfect! It’s really a hidden gem!! Whether it’s a party or just hanging out, it is a nice place to sit at the bar, watch sports, listen to music, play pool or darts, or swim in the pool. The owners were amazing and we will definitely be back!!“

“Parties By Steve & Santa highly recommends Southern social. The place is happening. It consistently has an awesome atmosphere, Yeah, you may never know who will show up as a surprise guest. “The steak was perfect and delicious, especially with the black truffle butter. Husband got the surf & turf (filet mignon and lobster tail) which was also cooked and flavored perfectly. Wait staff was attentive, food and drinks were quick to arrive, they brought out a complimentary cheesecake for my husband’s birthday. Drinks: Maverick Martini and Raspberry Thirtini — both amazing.“

“Thanks to our attentive and knowledgeable waiter, Sebastien we had a wonderful experience. The service, drinks and ambience were exemplary, and the food was quite good. The salmon was delicious, but the branzino was slightly overcooked. The dessert was unbelievably delicious! Overall, the flavors were tasty and we will definitely be back.“

“So I have been in Jacksonville for 3 years. Im a Texan and I want to keep the standard the same for quality and quantity in a meal as any place I love in my home state. I have to say this is it, this is the one. The portions are huge, the taste of each plate we tried was excellent. We did not try any of the seafood options. I have to say this is now my Mexican food place. Arturo was the best and made our experience exceptional. The happy hour top self margaritas for $6.99, you could not beat are not watered down.( I only had 1 ) my hubby is driving home lol. This is the place to try out for sure if you love Mexican like I do.“
