“Looks can be deceiving, and this is a great case study for "don't judge a book by it's cover". The food is excellent and the prices are very good. Beer in a can? Yep! I'm a can man, so I love it. They, of course, have beer on tap and in bottles and a full liquor bar as well. Caroline is a fantastic bartender and plenty of parking. Don't be afraid to give this hidden gem a try, you won't regret it.“
“I enjoyed my visit to the Post. I was in the area away from the bar and was pleased there was little smoke like in other fraternals. The the bar person was fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable. It was clean especially the restroom. My wife and I are both not smokers so that has been an issue for us. I will return soon“
“Small and cozy we were greeted by a wonderful young lady tending bar and the 15 or so customers. Everyone were friendly and welcoming. I don't drink alcohol anymore but my brother and friend were both impressed with the available selection.I can't say enough about the bartender. This young lady was attentive, knowledgeable and full of great information. My brother and friend were going to the Chiefs/Jax game and she was loaded with all kinds of useful guidance. She named places to stay as well as things to do while they were in the Jax area. She is a true gem!“
“(UPDATED REVIEW) Nice spot, I just wish you guys opened the second half of the bar back up on thursdays(sink or swim) … attendance dropped since you guys made that decision and I understand it was because of Covid-19 but that was a major tradition(stress reliever from a long week of work) for much of the county of putnam. We would love to see it revived !! Otherwise a very nice bar & pub with great employees…“
“My husband and I used to live in Palatka up until last year and were back visiting over the past two weeks and we HAD to get us some of those cheesy bacon fries. Seriously, they’re as the kids say, “BUSSIN” ?The food and staff are all super chill. Atmosphere is relaxed, and they have a decent outside seating area.Parking: Ample space in parking lot, but also street parking.Kid-friendliness: There’s a swing set and little play area for kids.“
“We ordered the Nacho Cheese Burrito with steak and the Veggie Quesadilla. Both of our meals were very good. The steak in the burrito was flavorful and tender. The Veggie Quesadilla was fantastic! It was stuffed with zucchini, onions, peppers and mushrooms.They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The dining room was nicely decorated. We will definitely dine here again.“
“From the moment we walked through the door till we left everyone who worked there was pleasant and attentive. Our waitress always had a smile on her face. We will no longer be going to the Chili's in St Augustine. Where you can barely get service let alone a smile.“
“Local bar with a great view and atmosphere. Visiting from Massachusetts and just randomly found this place on the map. One pool table, a couple TV's, a lot of outdoor seating, boat docks, right on a bend in the river. Open mic with some decent folk/country/rock music being performed when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed this place and would be a regular if lived nearby.“
“KINARDS ( Owner Aaron J Kinard ) fish camp in 1957 was this exact mileage ( on the river ) from Palatka, per the Fish camp advertisement, I'm POSITIVE if this bar was at the same location then, that he would of drank a few beers there. I'm told the now Roberts Blvd, took you to the actual river camp site.“

“After plenty of years of driving by this place I finally had the opportunity to stop in. Rumors was exactly what I thought it would be & I was not disappointed. It was the definition of a side of the road dive, it checked all the boxes, working pay phone, beer taps that don’t work, pool tables & darts, a very small stage, smoking inside, drive through package store, jukebox, bar food from the back kitchen, friendly local patrons & that very lived in vibe. I’ll make it a point to stop by anytime I’m passing through Palatka, cheers“
“Great brewery!! They had a fantastic selection of beers. The lager was especially yummy. It's a large place with an outdoor area as well. The service was great and quick. They have live music and it would seem a healthy lineup of events throughout the month. If you are in the area, give it a try!“
