“Placed an order through UberEats so by the time the food got to me, it wasn't super fresh/the right temp - but I can't fault the restaurant for that! Food was still good though! I liked the salmon roll and the Jimmy Smith roll! I like fried rolls, but I feel like sometimes you taste more of the friedness than the ingredients; the JS was the best of both worlds for me! Fried rice was a little dry but still good, adding some soy sauce helped. Not a fan of the cheese wontons though, the filling was too sweet and wonton shell was not fried/crispy enough - wouldn't order again. I was also disappointed that chopsticks, shrimp sauce, and soy sauce weren't included with the order. I usually get more than enough from other sushi places I've ordered from. It wasn't the end of the world, I had everything but shrimp sauce at home, but I like to put shrimp sauce in my fried rice so that was kind of a bummer. Will definitely be back/order again, but will probably try some gyoza next time instead of wontons.“

“Our daughter has been to the restaurant many times and took my wife and I there for the first time. We both thought that the food was good. I had the udon noodle soup which I thought was amazing. The pineapple fried rice is also excellent. We will definitely return to dine here again.“
“My family and I had a nice Hibachi Dinner at Jana's. We went on Friday night at about 5pm, at that time we were seated immediately and there was only one other table open. We received very prompt service and thankfully they were very open to any customizations we had. Myself and hubs both had the Filet Mignon hibachi combo ( which by the way is only like a $1 more then the regular combo with sirloin!) he doesn't eat the veg so they allowed him a sub of double rice. My kids had the kids steak hibachi dinner. They mentioned if we didn't like the veg or rice we could sub out noodles, extra rice or any other variety which was really nice. After receiving our soup/salad the dinner show soon began. Our cook had a great personality and kept the entire table entertained. We noticed another table receiving showers of Saki during their show but that didn't come up at our table :( So maybe that's dependent on whoever you get?? The serving sizes were MASSIVE he kept adding on to our plates. Rice, then vegetables followed by the meats. The Filet was so well cooked, very tender and flavorful. One thing to point out they use a LOT of garlic. I love the stuff but to some it may be too much... We all loved our meals, even my pickiest kids. Enjoyed the show and service. My only complaint was at the end, another table was getting their dinner cooked and the SMELL OF OIL burning in the air got INTENSE! (That's why I deducted a star). I get super sensitive and had to walk away from my family while they finished up to get fresh air outside. There was no fires, nothing out of the ordinary but just how the smell came our way was way too much. So overall if your looking for a fun family dinner outing check out Jana's. You won't leave hungry! Just get there early enough as they don't take reservations and by the time we left about 630 it was PACKED! I noticed many people come in and leave due to the wait. “Our meal was sooo good! My husband and I rarely go out to eat anymore because it seems the quality of the food has gotten so bad in many places. We didn't want to cook and tried Nori - wow! I had the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The chicken was so tender, the dish so flavorful. My husband had Maki Rolls - they were large pieces, delicious. Neither of us could finish our meals. Our server was so pleasant, too. Great atmosphere ... this is going to be our new "go-to".“

“Made our first visit last night and will definitely be back. A great addition to the WGV dining scene which has been so lacking in the area. Immediately after being seated we were given miso soup, before our drink order was taken - how nice. We had the Avocado salad, 4 sushi rolls, beer and wine. The sushi was so fresh and the presentation was WOW! I won't say more, stop in especially at night and see. With the check came deep fried Oreos, never had that anywhere before. “My new favorite Jax Sushi spot. Maybe the best I’ve had in the last few years. I found it today and the food completely blew me away. I’m guessing it’s a family run joint as our waitress was in her school uniform. She did amazing, her recommendations were spot on, and the entire table ate like royalty. “I have been coming here for a while. Recently, I have been enjoying Phillips sushi a lot more! Everytime I come here, the food is always very consistent. The Spicy Crunchy Krab roll is to die for, and I always find myself ordering at least one. They also have platters with different variety of rolls, so you can try out many different rolls. The platters are also good for a family, and affordable to feed everyone. I highly recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover.“

“The sushi here is very good. It is one of our go to non all you can eat sushi places. We have it in rotation. The rolls here are great and the shrimp sauce is my go to style. They have no problems customizing things when requested. Parking can be a pain if busy. The staff is great and they always hit the mark and are consistent. My favorite rolls are the 007, fancy roll, hwy 16, & the OMG roll“
“My server was impressively attentive for having a full dining room and just being a solo diner. The green curry shrimp soup was the best I have ever had and it is my new favorite soup! I also had the Lemon Drop specialty roll which was deliciously zesty. I had never had lemon on a sushi roll and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back with my family and try some more!“

“We have tried Oola Mala several times since they opened and I really like this restaurant. We've tried their Oola Mala pot, beef pot, and lamb pot. We have also tried various sushi/rolls. I have to call out that we tried the Radiant Sunrise Roll, which is more like a couple of ...beef taco? While I laugh a little at it (that it's not a sushi roll), it is really really delicious. We've tried several of their rolls and like how creative they get and mostly are very tasty. In the end, we typically go with the lamb pot and ask for extra extra extra spicy. When it's regular spicy, I find it a bit mild. However, that is purely a presonal preference. The soup base is very tasty, regardless of how spicy you request it. It comes with a wide variety of ingredients. The only downside is that there is not something to keep the soup hot the entire time, which is traditionally, what hotpot is about. So I do find myself rushing to finish up because I like my soup very hot. But overall, when I am craving for a nice 'pot' of soup, Oil Mala would come to mind.“
