We have been going to this restaurant over the past 3 years since we moved to the Ocala area; the hostess and wait staff are aways friendly and personable. Amrit is the restaurant we bring our family and friends to when they visit the area. Amrit is currently doing some remodeling - looking forward to seeing the work when completed.

The Best East Indian food I have ever had- Better than Paris, Fiji, California and Chicago. Excellent service and great atmosphere. I cannot wait to take my girlfriend here who loves East Indian food. + The food is sooo healthy and there are dishes not served elsewhere. I highly recommend this restaurant. Amazing as always. We were there during their remodel, and it was still a great experience. The food and service never disappoints.
I would have given five stars but they are currently renovating. The food is still fabulous and the service is five star! I can't wait to see what is behind the visqueen, in the new dining and kitchen areas.

The vegetable dinner had chicken in it. I don't eat meat and ate chicken last night. It ruined my appetite for the meal. Brought new food, meat free after everyone else was almost done eating. I was disappointed and sick to my stomach. I am very upset at this restaurant. No water and had to pay $4.00 for a water. The bill was $37.00 for me. Construction going on and had to use the back door. Not a pleasant experience at all. Armit was a expensive let down.

The place was being remodeled but the food and service were still great. We have had Indian food in New York, London, Los Angeles and San Francisco as well as India, and this is right up there as one of best. All the food is authentic and perfectly prepared. It is one of our favorite restaurants.

We have been to this place recently for lunch. It is in the process of renovation so be prepared to adjust for that. We ordered few appetizers, Chicken Tandoori and chicken biryani. My wife has appetizer that made her sick with cramp. she is still recovering from it after 2 days. Chicken Tandoori is good but the portion size doesn't justify the price. Chicken Biryani is not good at all. We cook and eat Chicken Biryani at restaurants many times as it is my favorite dish so I can tell the quality with confidence. The portion size doesn't justify the price as well in this case. So be prepared to adjust for these if you plan to visit.
