Did not wait on English speaking customer
I stopped in for a coffee with my friend.
He had bread pudding flavored with rum with his coffee. The Cuban coffee was great, perfectly blended and very hot. However all the pastries were way too sweet, they had a variety of jam and cheese flakey pastries, sweet breads and pudding that are in the tradition of Latino cooking, bound to raise your blood sugar.
Very unfortunate that this place has not progressed to a more modern way of baking using less sugar. With a diabetes epidemic increasing daily within the greater Latino community and the majority of their patrons being Latino,it is short cited and boarding on irresponsible Not to have better options available.
Also the young lady behind the counter was rude. They can do better.

Whenever I'm around I go to eat an excellent breakfast. And if not, then I eat the best midnight or Cuban sandwich. Mariela is tremendous taking care of you. Very friendly and helpful

Ok. Today is 48 hrs before Thanksgiving. I don't know what kind of a business shuts down their entire operation for a week of a holiday that is only one day. You people must do real well with your restaurant. However, I'm pissed because it's a normal work day. I arrive at 8 am to see a stupid sign saying you are closed for the WEEK of Thanksgiving?! That's absurd! Im never giving you people my business because evidently you have enough of it.

They are lazy. They don't like to work. They close at 4pm and do not work on Saturday or Sunday. They take full weeks of vacation. It seems they don't know they are in the United States.

we stopped in today for Cuban coffee and split a slice of guava cheesecake. The portions are large enough to share that you don't feel cheated. it is so good! Next time we are out this way we will stop in for lunch. The food is fresh and authentic and the staff is friendly.
While the service was great, and the ladies upfront were very kind I was disappointed .I love Cuban coffee, but this was not Cuban coffee. It was extremely water down, warm milk with a hint of espresso, nowhere near strong & sweet.
Might as well go to key food.

Went into here to see what they offered and buy lunch. Stood next to the ordering counter for almost 10 minutes while the workers helped 4 other people who walked in after i was standing there. I wasn't acknowledged, nor did i want to force my money upon them if they didn't want to help me. Similar to many bakeries in the Miami area, if you don't speak Spanish, go somewhere else.
