Was a pretty poor experience start to finish. We knock on the bookcase multiple time until a dude at the lodge had to go up there to see if anyone was running the bar, and then he bricked the door open. G ,the server, had a bad habit of taking half the tables order then quickly leaving before everyone finished. Then during the night they gave our table a free shot but only 3 drinks for four people so that was awkward. Finally If your paying with cash, that might be a problem, because they shorted me 30 cent without a single word as to why. My friend say it is usually better, but this was my frist time and I'm never going back.

As a first time customer I am unimpressed. We went two hours before closing, no one answered and had to be let in by someone leaving. Was told " you can have beer or white claw"Not at all what I look for in a speakeasy. If it were minutes before closing I might've understood, but hours???LAME as hell.Will not return.

Such a disappointment. 3 bouncers at the Lodge entrance don’t even say anything just signal to show an id at 8:45 pm (and I am way older than 21). Reminds me of the trashy dive bars from college. Then I am told even though I would be going to the speakeasy for drinks only. I was not allowed to enter.
I was RUDELY told that they were a Restaurant so I could not bring my to go box. I explained I was going to the speakeasy where they don’t serve food. Nope they are a restaurant and I can’t enter at all! I would have to walk to the roof of the parking garage to my car and walk back hmmm!
NO Problem had a great time at the Thirsty Cobbler around the corner from the Ivey house where I could set my box below my chair, step into an authentic looking speakeasy and enjoy drinks for my friends bday! Don’t waste your time here.

Awesome hidden gem! Friendly staff from the moment we entered the secret entry. Drinks were beyond creative and delicious. Some with trinkets to take home. Delicious interesting and superb! It was the bees knees!
