Sunday Brunch review: Restaurant was quiet - only 6 tables dining. Service was very good. Good selection of hot and cold dishes. Cold shrimp, fruit and other cold items were very good. Prime rib carving station was excellent. "Hot" choices including chicken tortellini, baked cod and spinach risotto were either dry and/or not kept at the proper temperature. Desserts were overly sweet. Decent value if you are in the area.
Was there with family for Motger's Day brunch. Food was good if slightly on the minimal side. But be forewarned that there was a service charged tacked onto the bill. We were not verbally informed of this prior, but it is written on the very bottom of the bill, after ritual and tip request. This may be only for the special occasion but it is something to be cognizant of if you go to the restaurant.
We returned to the Ocala Hilton for their Thanksgiving Buffet.... Our reservation was at 2:30 and we we seated promptly at 2:35 The ambience, music and staff were all enjoyable. The Buffet was outstanding.. Traditional Thanksgiving offerings along with Ham and Prime Rib which was some of the best I've had... The Buffet was well worth the price of $ 62. The only negatives were the noise level was on the high side and the staff started taking away the tables and chairs before...
