My wife and I have been eating at Ayuttaya for the past 10 years, and it was our favorite Thai restaurant in the area specifically for the food. We had an issue during our last trip that now has us looking for a new Thai restaurant. I ordered Pineapple fried rice just like I always do - with no broccoli. When it was brought out, the waitress had written down extra broccoli. No big deal, I said I would simply pick out the broccoli so they wouldn't have to remake it. When the bill arrived, I was charged $2 for ordering extra broccoli! It's not the $2 that is the issue here - it's the fact that they even added the $2, when they were the ones that messed up the order. When I asked about it the waitress told me that the manager had told her to charge me since I didn't send the entire order back. I have two issues here: 1) The waitress should never have even added the charge since she knew it was her mistake and 2) the manager should never have told her to charge me for something I didn't order. The manager came over and argued with me for a good 10 minutes - by now my meal experience was ruined, I was upset, my wife was upset, and I simply told them I refused to pay. They finally took off the $2, but we haven't been back since, and probably won't ever be. I've never seen such poor customer service anywhere and Ayuttaya has lost a customer for life for $2.

My family and I went here for dinner. We ordered edamame for us and I ordered a small tom yum shrimp soup for appetizers. I was extremely disappointed with the soup and thought the rest of our meal would be the same. To my surprise our dinners were excellent. We ordered the three sauce snapper fillet, pad woon sen noddles with shrimp and the combination spicy basil dish (medium spice). It was cooked fresh and was very flavorful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Thai meal. The waitress could have been a little more attentive.

We will be back. We enjoyed the coconut curry soup. Portions are good. Be careful not to go too spicy, like my husband did. He will get medium spice next time. Service was good and place is clean. Great atmosphere too!

We had Pad Thai which was a little different that we have in many places....but it was good, just not #1 in our book. Service was good and atmosphere quite nice. So, why a rating of 1????? I was in the men's room and an employee left ahead of me without washing his hands. Wonder what the kitchen is like????

I ordered the green curry dinner to go, which was almost $18. I received a container that had 5 shrimp and a few pieces of vegetables floating in a sea of green liquid. I didn’t order soup, yet this definitely qualified as soup. It certainly was NOT a meal. It tasted ok, but it was a complete ripoff. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this at this restaurant. Most items on the menu are WAY overpriced for what you get. I would advise anyone looking for a good meal with reasonable portions at reasonable prices to avoid this place at all costs. There are far better options in the area.

Nice atmosphere and greeted with a smile.
Lunch menu smaller than dinner menu. We ordered from dinner menu. Chicken Satay, cucumber salad, Amazing Praram w/chicken medium heat and Chicken Panang Curry medium heat. Very good flavor, tender chicken and perfect heat. Served with rice.
Visited for lunch. Service was very good and food came out quickly. I had drunken noodles and the wife had yellow curry. Both had great flavor and were good size portions. We also had our choice of soup or salad with the entree.

Really nice Authentic place to get some Thai. Food is always good. I love all the curries and the Pad Thai. The Thai tea is amazing! Inside is a dim lit tribute to Thai decor. Definitely worth a try!
