Worse experience, the service was ok, but she doesn’t know how to ring things up so our food didn’t come out at the same time. The table that came in after received their food before we did, and when asked why was told two different stories one from the waitress then from the manager! Widh we would have stayed and waited the 40 minutes at Formaggio because it took a hour and half to get ours here. My daughter left a review and they responded back calling us Karens and was equally as rude as to when we where there; and speaks volumes on how they treat costumers that get up set with bad service!

Lacks customer service and no sense of urgency. Waited a hour for food we didn’t even get to eat while others who came in afterwards were being served. We spoke to the manager wondering why we weren’t being served after being told the kitchen was backed up on a SLOW friday night. I left a review on google and the response the owner gave should speak for itself on the type of service you’d receive. They reply nastily to criticism and then delete their response. “You were RUDE from the start, your food was 40 minutes on a busy Friday night which is good for food cooked to serve NOT FROZEN and nothing the OWNER said or did was good enough for your negativity so they discounted your food to get you OUT THE DOOR! AND we gave you a free calzone to boot and you still were being a rude KAREN...Good luck finding your perfect little spot Leana we don't welcome you back to our Yard! The table next to you apologized to us for you even though they didn't know you they said don't take it personal as yall were being A$$holes the entire time. BYE!”

I've been going to Brooklyns for 7 years. It WAS one of my most favorite restaurants in Ocala but ever since it a sold its slowly gone down hill. They cut the menu in half recently and got rid of my most favorite dish ( rice bowl) I get it every time I go! Now it's gone! So disappointing! Nothing to pick from anymore. Just burgers and pizza , same old stuff you can get anywhere! Probably will not be back!

My wife and I found this hole in the wall...in an older plaza...don't judge a book buy its cover.
Spacious and cheery when we walked in, we're greeted immediately and sat.
Our server was Cynthia...she kept us up to date, and kept our glasses full.
I had the Angry Orchard burger....wow...yummy...
Wife had chicken club flat bread pizza...
That was delicious as well.
We split an order of pierogis.
Great place...it closing for remodeling, but will open again in early October.
Can't wait to visit again

It's a really great place for a fun night for a gathering of family and friends. Management, Al was courteous. Awesome service was provided by Jesse. The music bingo was definitely refreshing from regular bingo. First time for me, but it will not be the last. I'll be back, especially for the chilly cheese fries.

Vegetarian options: The menu has a variety, and the customer(s) can build their meal. I was a builder.

Dietary restrictions: I have dietary restrictions and was able to fulfill my hunger from choices offered on the menu.

Parking: In a great location to shop or catch a movie.

Kid-friendliness: This is the best part, family-oriented.

Brooklyn's Backyard is a locally owned restaurant in Ocala, FL. This restaurant always has a family-friendly atmosphere every time I eat there, whether it's with my family or close friends. I've yet to try all the options on their menu, but every food dish I've tried has really good taste and jaw-dropping flavor. The servers patiently wait on you and all the staff treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options for those who have celiac disease, and their kitchen staff know how to properly avoid cross contamination.

What a fun vibe! The astroturf was missing which is the ONLY reason I marked the atmosphere down to a 4, otherwise definitely a star. We came for dinner and around 7 they switched the string lights on and it totally sold the "backyard vibes"!

Food was amazing! My boyfriend got the St Crioux burger and fries. I got the Angry Orchard Burger. Everything was cooked perfectly. I will absolutely be coming back for the Angry Orchard burger. It was such a different and perfectly executed combination. We both enjoyed beers which were delicious- just wish the QR coded on the menu were accurate. There was a list on a board that was though.

Our server Jessi rocked! There was a sign by the door that said they were short staffed and asked us to be patient with them but the servers were so attentive you would never have known!

An all around excellent experience. Glad we found them while doing a Google search of nearby restaurants. The esthetic drew us in but it's the food that will make repeat customers! Will recommend this place to everyone.

5 stars all around here. 6 if I could. The food and service were exceptional. Our waitress Amy was fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Go eat here you will not be disappointed!
