Stopped into Brown Dog Coffeehouse for a coffee break and it’s a cozy, “hang out for a while” kind of place. Inside feels warm and relaxed with comfy seating, and it’s easy to see why people come here to work or meet up. I grabbed a latte and a small bite—both were solid, and the barista was friendly, just a little slower when the line builds up. If you like calm coffee-shop vibes (not a loud, rushed grab-and-go), this is a good stop

I got three scoops of gelato. Flavors vanilla, coffee chip, and banana dulce de leche, and they were all delicious! Served in a cute bowl with a handle! The staff was helpful and kind and the service was quick. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. They have books and games for you to enjoy. The music is jazzy and Christmassy at this time. The chairs are comfortable and the fireplace, although fake, is delightful. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I want to like this place! It's the only coffee shop open in the Square on a Sunday and I love the concept. But! The Chai Latte is so bad! Just like the other reviewers found it to be so watered down it was not drinkable (for me). Went back a second time just to be sure and it was a bad as the first time, took 2 sips and threw it away! Can't say I won't go back but definitely won't order a latte!

Very cozy. My first time there, I wasnt quite sure what to order. I explained to the barista what I was in the mood for and she was very helpful with suggestions. The iced coffee was made with gelato, and was delicious. The only negative review I have is that the bacon is paper thin and extremely crispy. Otherwise, it is a great place to grab a coffee.

When Starbucks lost its coffeehouse soul, Brown Dog found it and didn't give it back. If you are looking for a place to chill that actually has a vibe and values those who walk in the door over those who pull up to a drive thru window, this is your place.
The shop has a great aesthetic and the people are very friendly, but unfortunately the coffee really misses the mark.(tried a few times ) If you’re looking for a good latte, I wouldn’t recommend this place at the moment. It might be the beans, or perhaps just a lack of experience in pulling shots and steaming milk properly, but the drinks come out unbalanced and not very enjoyable. I’m not trying to be mean—others I’ve spoken with feel the same. I truly hope the owner takes the time to refine their espresso and latte-making skills, because with the atmosphere and service, this spot has the potential to be excellent.
