First &’ foremost the remodel looks great. It was very much needed. But I must say this by far one of the worst BK in Ocala ! I actually stopped eating BK for years because of this location and how unsanitary they were. (Smoking cigarettes at the back door) this was some years ago but still the same blonde manager is still there and yes she was one of them smoking at the back door years ago and had the nerve to tell me they don’t have to wear gloves if the hands are washed. Okay, but we know you guys was outside smoking that smell just don’t go off your hands that quick but any who that was years ago. I recently within the last week came in and it was very clean and the cashier (didn’t catch her name) but was very sweet. I ended getting my food and checked it and the manger got so upset because I said my burger was frozen. Literally ice cold the cashier even touched it and notice it was cold The manager took my burger to the back talking shit came back put it on the counter and temp. My burger and was giving me such attitude when I said can you remake it please and thank you . She yelled I’m just letting you know it’s temping loud in front of customers and I repeated again can you remake it please and thank you. She walked off talking shit and was talking shit while fixing my food. The cashier was like calm down. I never gave her the satisfaction of correcting her for being disrespectful because it was customers and younger adults working with her that night and I didn’t want to do that in front of them. Because unlike her I have respect and it’s a time and a place for everything. I Will never return to this location. How do you act like that in front of young adults that look to you as the manager. Smh. Definitely not a good look for BK.

This was by far the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. The person taking our order was incredibly rude, and then, without explanation, demanded that we sign the receipt—something I’ve never been asked to do at a Burger King. It felt sketchy and unnecessary, to the point where I’m now monitoring my credit card statement for fraudulent charges.
When we finally got our food, the two young women at the window were acting strangely enough that I honestly couldn’t help but worry about what may have been done to our order. The entire interaction left us uneasy.
To top it off, when we called the location afterward to explain what had happened, the manager’s response was literally: “Fine, don’t come here again,” before hanging up on us. She also refused to provide her name.
We’ve given this location a few chances in the past, and while rudeness seems to be the norm here, this last experience sealed it—we will never be returning.
