They had a dedicated fryer for chips so they were gluten-free, and the salsa was good. The guac bowl was enormous (I can’t remember the last time we couldn’t finish a guacamole bowl and had to take it as leftovers), but the salad I ordered with shrimp on top was completely tasteless – literally a bowl of iceberg lettuce with boiled shrimp on top. My husband‘s black bean burritos (not gf) were also completely bland and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. The meal was absolutely not worth going back for unless you were just hungry for chips and guac. Also, we sat outside because the inside had a very unpleasant smell — cross between bad cleaning agent and raw fish.

The staff was quick, attentive, and friendly. He would constantly check to see if there was anything we needed and if we were satified with our choices. The food exceeded our expectations. All of us commended on the entries including the flavor of the rice. Commenting on rice is a first for me. I had the carnidas dinner. The pork portion was enormous and delicious. Even the food presentations were flawless. I was in awe when I entered the establishment. I felt I had stepped into another country. It was a full emersion experience for me.

Would rate 10 stars if I could. The food was super fresh and I’d say, it felt homemade, but it was somehow better than that. The carnitas in my street tacos were juicy and soft, the beans are out of this world, and the rice is fluffy. Honorable mention to the salsa as well; it had the perfect consistency and a little kick. Everything came within 5 minutes of ordering, yet was perfectly made. Our sever Ruben was absolutely amazing and hilarious, checked on us and got everything we needed in a timely manner.

Pros: food and rice was delicious. Everything had awesome flavor.
Cons: I wouldn’t recommend Jamica juice, stuff was super sour. Like literal no sweet. The waitress and waiter all seemed pretty stuck up. The atmosphere seemed like “you aren’t suppose to be here” even though I’m Mexican eating at a Mexican restaurant.. it’s too fancy for some regular food. Would I go back for the food? Yeah, would I go back for the atmosphere and food? No.
