I believe they cater only. Couldn't get anyone on the phone. Seems to be be closed all the time.

I attended a catered event with PNC bank which was organized by Branch Manager Cecila Peterson. The service was exemplary and the staff are so professional and the presentation was amazing! The wings had just the right amount of kick and had a beautiful gold dust. The wontons with the collar greens are a vegan alternative and so delicious and was a favorite among the appetizers! The fruit punch was so, so good ?!!! I couldn’t get enough of it. Lastly, the atmosphere was elegant but very comfortable; a homey atmosphere. The staff will make you feel right at home. Use for your catering needs or dine in!!!! So good!

Made reservations for 4 at 6PM. We arrived on time but there was a sign on the outside stating this restaurant was only for large parties or catering. We went inside and the waitress confirmed they only cater to large groups. Open table should remove their ad from their list. We were very very disappointed

I came here for my grandmother’s birthday and we were treated with the upmost respect and kindness. The owners are wonderful and make sure you are taken care of. The food was amazing and the portions had us slouching in our seats! 1000/10 recommend!!!

Made reservations for 5:30pm on Friday. We drove an hour and when we arrived the doors were locked and they were closed for a private event. Very disappointed. They should not have taken reservations if they were going to be closed.

Wow! When we arrived there, the place seemed very fancy. I thought it was going to be an expensive supper. First, customer service is amazing. They make everyone feel like royalty. As soon as we sat down, they brought a warm, delicious, and fluffy corn bread. We ordered two appetizers, the Queso and Corn Fondido, and the soul wonton. What a delight that was! All the food was sprinkled with gold dust and beautifully presented. Then I ordered the Oxtail, and my husband got the fried chicken wings with Mac & cheese. The food was excellent and tasty. Such decadence without the price tag. It is definitely a place we would add to our list of favorite restaurants. Keep up the good work, Celebrity Soul Food.

Food, ambiance, and service are all top notch. I've been here for a late dinner and an early lunch. Corn bread with honey was great to kick off both meals. For dinner I had the chicken and mashed potatoes - wonderful dish and the plating is great. For lunch I had a Cobb salad with chicken - exactly what I needed for a midday bite of greens. Everyone is quick, helpful, and very friendly. They also have free Wi-Fi if needed. Going back soon for the VIP burger, which looks amazing!

I stopped in here on 12-26-2021 after an adjustment in my lunch plans. I met up with my fabulous sister and amazing niece. Luckily, they were able to adjust their schedules to join me. Well, I had heard so much about this place that I had to try it. Trust me, it didn't disappoint. The experience was amazing. Excellent food quality, quantity and temperature. Varied menu items. Excellent seasonings (and I think you know what I mean)!! Fantastic service from straight out of Reddick...."Archie J." Request him by name when you dine here!! Hardworking, attentive and personable. Real people!! Now, what did we order: pineapple lemonade, sweet tea, side salad with Ranch dressing, cabbage confit, fried chicken wings, collard greens, peach cobbler, oxtails with yellow rice, crispy shrimp with French fries, sweet potato souffle and water. AMAZING!! The portions were big. In fact, so big that we had leftovers. The pineapple lemonade was something that I had to try because it combined two of my favorites into one - pineapple and lemonade!! Very good. The sweet tea was in fact SWEET!! I had several glasses. The side salad was very fresh and enough for two people! The cabbage confit was well seasoned. The wings were perfectly seasoned. The sweet potato souffle was so good. It had a little crust to it which made it even better. It was like eating a sweet potato pie without the bread crust. The collard greens were good too, perfectly seasoned so that you could see the meat in the greens. The oxtails were falling off the bone and were accompanied by very tender yellow rice!! The shrimp were good to the taste accompanied with French fries. Also, there is complimentary corn bread drizzled with honey!! AMAZING. It's like cake!! I know because I ate it. The peach cobbler a la mode was very flavorful. All around a wonderful dining and service experience. We were right at home and didn't feel rushed!! Shout out to our server "Archie J. straight out of Reddick!!"

The ambience was really nice and the service was great. The punch was good but the food lacked a soul food flavor and was on the bland side. When I think of soul food, I think of something that will arouse my senses (sight, smell and taste) and awaken my taste buds. This place did not do that for me and I was very disappointed. I wish them success but I will not be eating there again.

This is a quaint restaurant with a great ambiance. I had reservations & was seated right away bit it too a long time before the server arrived. We ordered a bottle of wine that was listed on the menu but the server brought out an entirely different wine (our request was red she brought white), we ordered another choice. The food was very tasty & the serving size was huge. Our server was great, however I feel the manager should have come out when we had the mixup with the wine also just greet the guest to make sure everything was OK. I will visit again.

I'm a native Mississippian and have dined at many a soul food restaurant and was raised on soul food meals cooked by family. The food served here is delicious and served with a flair I wasn't expecting. Almost every dish had a sprinkling of edible gold dust on it, even the cheesy grits. The decor is chic and upscale compared to the funky environment I usually see. It was as if this soul food restaurant has a VIP room. The only thing missing was a disco ball. Normally, I would suspect that the use of gold dust on food was done to glamorize a less than glamorous tasting dish. That was not the case here. Without the glitter I would have been just as pleased. The squash dressing, the honey butter cornbread, the black eyed peas, the cheesy grits, the cornmeal crusted thin catfish filets and shrimp, the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and even the french fries were well seasoned and properly prepared. If we weren't so full we would have tried a few more tastes. We'll have to return again soon and we definitely will. The servers were very pleasant and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. A sho 'nuf celebrity experience.

I've come here about 4 times so far. Everything I've ordered has been delicious. The ones are very attentive and make sure you are having a great experience and you are enjoying your food. So happy Ocala finally has a place that has REAL SOUL FOOD. What's a bonus for me is that they are Pork free unless requested(real bacon). They use smoked turkey and the meat seasoning of choice. THANK GOD
