Yeah so we ordered food for us and our kids so it was like $40 worth of food. Got told to go to the other side window to pick up food. We saw that the young man working on food dropped tongs on the floor THEN USE THEM TO PICK UP FOOD OUT OF THE FRYER AND PUT THEM IN CONTAINERS, BAGS THEN HANDED IT TO THE CUSTOMER IN THE DRIVE THRU!!!!!!
Once we finally got his attention he said “oh my bad” and laughed and closed the window and walked away. We requested a refund and I for one will not be going back to this location.
We get accidents happen (dropping the tongs) but like just bring them to the back and grab a new pair! Simple as that. I wish I could’ve caught the car before they left to tell them not to eat the food 🤮 🤢🤢

Checkers is great when you want something fast and greasy, but the food definitely leans heavily into the “chemically processed” side of fast food. A lot of the items—especially the burgers, fries, and chicken—have that artificial, overly seasoned taste that makes it clear they rely on a lot of additives and preservatives. It fills you up, but it doesn’t feel like real, clean food.
The fries are iconic, but even they have that powdery, heavily seasoned coating that tastes more engineered than natural. Same goes for the burgers and sandwiches—plenty of flavor, but you can tell it’s coming more from laboratory-level seasoning mixes than actual ingredients. If you’re sensitive to processed foods or you try to avoid artificial ingredients, you’ll notice it right away.
The service is usually quick, and the prices are cheap, so it’s convenient. But when it comes to ingredient quality, Checkers feels like one of the more “chemical-forward” fast food spots out there. It’s fine for cravings or late-night hunger, but not something you’d want to eat regularly if you care about what’s actually going into your food.

I went there to order, and the machine didn’t catch my order, so I said “team member”. So someone came to the intercom and I asked them “can you read my order back to me so I can make sure is everything correct please?” And the girl said “absolutely not” and I was confused and it ruined my appetite but she did read the order when she realized I went silent. Idk if she was trying to funny but it wasn’t at all.

Every time I come to this location they always don’t get my order right and they are missing things tonight I order 2 chili cheese fries one was large one was regular 2 chili dogs a 8 piece chicken tenders and 2 orders of mozzarella sticks I got everything but the large chili cheese fries the workers don’t pay attention to the order
Came again and this time instead of giving us sweet tea they gave us unsweetened tea if they didn’t have any they should told us
