We hadn’t eaten at a Checkers in many years. My wife and I were excited to eat it again because of that, and my kids were wanting food as well. When we walked up to the windows, which were not marked which window was order and which was pick up, there was an elderly woman waiting to order . She was confused as to which window to use also. Finally, after about 5 minutes, a worker came to a window to take orders. The older woman made her order and then we proceeded to make our order. I kid you not, it seemed like everything we tried to order, they were out of either that item or something that goes on/with an item. We finally got our order in and then the wait began. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. In that 15 minute wait, I watched a man stand at a window to make an order for about 5 minutes and after the workers didn’t acknowledge that he was at the window, he left. We finally got our food and drinks. My wife’s and I’s chicken strips were dark in color, not quite burnt, but looking close, and they were dry. The fries were as good as I remembered but they were really greasy. We ate or food and left. About 2 hours later, my wife, daughter and I all felt nauseous and had upset stomachs. We can’t say for sure but the only thing we can link it back to was Checkers. Needless to say, we were sad that the nostalgia wasn’t met and we will probably not eat at a Checkers any time soon or maybe ever again.

Had a loooong day at work and stopped here after for a hot burger, the burger was not even warm and the cheese wasn't melted at all. I tried calling and calling and they never answered. It's a huge disappointment when u want something hot

My son and I stopped here for lunch. It has a great sanitation score. The AI on the drive thru is fantastic! Burger, fries and drink for under 9 bucks that actually tastes good!

So disappointed in the food quality (I love checkers) I ordered the 2 checkers burger meal and 4pc cheese Stix and all the food was cold and hard like it was made the day before. Cheese Stix were crunchy (they weren't even the normal cheese Stix they were the bites) and cheese was dried up rubber, cold GREASY fries, and burger patties cold and hard! Nothing edible in my whole order.
