Chelsea Coffee & Eatery

I do not frequent this coffee shop. It’s been at least 5 years as we are not usually in town. I remember the last visit being pleasant. This time. I was interested in trying something off their valentine specials and asked if anything of them were not overly sweet. I don’t like sweet drinks so to decide on what I wanted to order I tried to ask if I could use flavors from their valentine menu but I kept getting interrupted as the lady at the counter kept telling me it wouldn’t be the same as the menu and the chocolate was just mocha and that I should just order from the regular menu. Which I understood but I wanted to know If the strawberry drizzle was something that was available to have outside of the specialty valentine menu. I tried to ask again but was interrupted again asking if I wanted coffee, I said no , and before I could say I wanted four shots of espresso, so she immediately went into only having hot chocolate available. Finally she allowed me to speak and I said I wanted espresso. So she felt the need to correct me to say that was coffee and that she couldn’t understand what I wanted. When she FINALLY let me order the four espresso shots with the strawberry and chocolate glaze, she still questioned me as it would just be straight espresso with the glazes. As if I don’t know what I like to drink. Even after saying I didn’t want anything super sweet. The whole encounter was unprofessional and rude. There was no one else waiting to order. And only one other couple was sitting at a table eating. Maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless, as someone who works in customer service, I know not to take my frustrations out on my costumers. If my daughter wasn’t hungry I would have left.

I love this little place. Great espresso, lattes and other beverages. Super friendly people and convenient for pick up on my way to work. My friend has an espresso machine at home and gets beans from Chelsea which are local and fresh.

They don't disappoint! Bagels are so fresh! Iced caramel latte (Carlatte 😍) was the best I've had from a local shop! They are so nice as well! And have awesome artwork all around! Must make the trip!

Small place with specialty teas, coffee, smoothies and boba drinks.
I ordered the quinoa bowl and the grilled chicken salad. Both were very generous sizes and delicious.

The staff were pleasant. The space is a bit small, consisting of wooden tables and chairs (no couches, etc.). Ordered a regular latte and it was very good!
