I had to write this review because this restaurant gives you SO MUCH food! We got sweet and sour chicken and boneless spare ribs with fried cheese wontons. So yummy! Their food is always fresh and hot. Great service and atmosphere. Placing an order on the phone is quick and easy. Food is usually ready for pickup in 15 mins.

I went back and forth on the score on this one as I think the place, overall, is average for takeout Chinese food. I see the other reviews and I disagree with some of the points. On food taste, I prefer FIrst Wok down the street. It is also average but they are a bit bolder on their flavors. But for sheer value, I don't think you can beat China Wok (see pictures). When I picked up the box, it felt heavy. After loading up a plate (pictured), there was still enough for 2 more meals. Sure, a lot of fried rice, which is not the best for a diabetic like me, but also an ample amount of the chicken. As it is only marginally different from First Wok, this would be the spot if you are seeking value. Food is good, but standard. The atmosphere is like any other Chinese takeout restaurant. Minimal tables and chairs and a larger counter to order. Cooks in the back manning the woks. The daughter of the owners served me and I was very impressed to have someone I would guess around 12 handling this duty so well. I talked to the parents for a bit about how impressed I was. We homeschooled and all of my daughters got honors in college, so I can really appreciate someone who takes time to teach their children.

This is my favorite Chinese food in all of the state of Florida. I found this place a few months ago and can't stop coming back. The food makes me happy. It tastes homey and that is comforting. The place has a family, mama and papa, atmosphere. I love mom and pops places. The food is well made. My favorite foods here the boneless spare ribs and the sesame chicken. Hope this review helps.

When we moved to this area we began a search for a good Chinese food restaurant. We moved from a city about 15 minutes from Baltimore. After going to quite a few different places around Ocala, China Wok has become our family's go-to-place for Chinese food. We always do carry-out, there isn't an area in which to sit and eat. Though nothing like what the Baltimore area has to offer, the food here is usually satisfying. I am always given friendly service as well!

Only one word to describe it, bad. . Pepper steak and oinons was 90% pepers and oinons. The seasame chicken was mostly balls of doe with no chicken. Really not sure how it got a rating of 4.4.

sorry i gotta be honest....I ordered sechaun shrimp and it was disgusting ? compare it to chengs Chinese in the villages and you'll see a huge difference!!

No flavor to our food, very bland. Beef has strange texture, although it was very tender. Made me question it’s substance.The store lobby area was dirty looking on walls, floor boards, rugs, and light fixtures filled with dead bugs.Gotta find somewhere else for Chinese takeout.
