After a few visits to the deli, I started to feel unappreciated. Frankly, the service is ordinary, there isn't anything special about this place. I haven't tried all of their dishes, but the sausage and pepper sandwiches went from good, to worse. If you want your veggies microwaved, then this is the place. I wish it were different. The crew appeared to me like they were not making any extra efforts to stand above the rest.

So I was there for a training class down the road. Saw this was close by, walked in brought memories back right way, good ones. Was a little busy and just wanted to know what time they closed so I could come after my training was over. They close at 3 on Sat. my training was over at 4. In the mean time I grabbed a can of soda to take with me for the class and would come back for a sandwich. So one of the guys asked me what I was getting, showed him the can of soda, says to me your good go. First time there by the way, well they made a big impression on me pretty much felt they treated everyone like family. At that point i decided to get a sandwich, I ordered the pastrami, my favorite, Christina was making one for someone else so she made mine. Went to pay for it with a card they don't take cards. Christina says I'll get you next time, I trust you.. (WOW!!!!!) Again was very impressed with the treatment there. I ran down the street to an ATM and returned to pay. I live in St. Augustine otherwise I would be there regularly. Huge Thank You to all there working, don't change a thing. Went to the parking where I was doing my training and ate the best pastrami sandwich I have had in years. TY you all for the great hospitality and awesome food.

My favorite spot in Ocala. Everything they make is delicious! My Friday go to is chicken parm. Love the atmosphere where it seems like everyone knows everyone. I figured, I might as well give this place a chance, knowing they probably wouldn’t be the standards of the sub shop I’ve frequented my whole life. You guys! Holy cannoli! I know I’m like decades slow to the game… yesterday I went to Cristina's Deli for the first time. I have so much to say!!! First of all… it’s been MANY MANY years since I’ve walked into any type of restaurant/deli and was excited to be there! When you walk into Cristina’s, it feels like you’re walking into someone’s home and the smell of deliciousness surrounds you!!! But not just that… everyone working there was so genuinely nice and seemed to be so happy to see everyone who stepped up to place an order! The hardest part about being there was deciding which amazing dish to order! I’m a sucker for a steak and cheese (and I normally get disappointed when I order them) so that’s what I went with! I loved seeing everything made fresh to order! Then I saw the pasta salad and I was like oooohhh dear lort I need that in my life too… my inner “big back” took over! I couldn’t stay to dine in because I had a few other stops to make… but next time I will definitely be dining in because it’s just such a warm cozy atmosphere! Anyway I couldn’t wait to get home to eat! I hadn’t been that excited to totally pig out in forever! I started with the pasta salad… the dressing they put on it, which is also made in house, was TO DIE for!!! That’s by far the best pasta salad I’ve ever had!!! Then on to the steak and cheese… OH MY LORT!!! Soooo savory! So tender! Soooo delicious!!! The steak and cheese sub will change your life!!!! I can’t believe that I’ve been missing out on THE BEST food for so long! I’m already looking forward to going back so I can try something else!!! Huge huge shout out to Cristina's Deli!!! Thank you so much for such an amazing lunch and an amazing experience!!! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it… unless you’re ready for an overflowing amount of perfectly seasoned steak and cheese on a beautifully toasted roll. Proceed with caution, I was useless for the rest of my shift.

We just had the most delicious lunch at Cristina’s! The cheesesteak and pastrami subs were the best we have ever had! We have looked for a good deli since we moved here 5 years ago and we finally found it! The atmosphere and people make you feel like you’re eating with your family and friends!
