Darrell's Diner

My wife was in Advent for five days, she insisted I get some supper each night. I went to the Darrell’s on Pine Ave, James was cooking and did a fantastic job. Different waitress each night, all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The meal and good service helped getting past some difficult times.

Haven’t been to Darrell’s in forever, but ended up at the Summerfield location for breakfast this past Sunday. Service was excellent, but can’t say that for the food. I ordered the corned beef hash, eggs, home fries, and a coffee. I paid over $17 all together for canned hash, frozen potatoes, two extremely small eggs over easy, and watered down coffee. My husband and daughter’s food was not much better. Walked out paying over $60 with tip for breakfast. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but this was all processed garbage.

This is the best location by far and I have become a regular there. The staff are very friendly and are attentive. The food portions are huge and they make the best hash browns! The cooks do an excellent job at off menu ideas, and accurate with their recipes. The best thing about Darrells at this location is their TEAM effort in refilling the coffee or water while you are enjoying your meals & the company of your friends/family. Heather, Ben & the beautiful blonde waitress is what makes that location a great place to go to again & again. They remember your name, what you like to drink and take the time in between serving meals to check in on you. They clear off tables quickly to make room for those walking in to be seated. If you want to enjoy your meal and have exceptional customer service, this is the place! Lastly, their prices are very reasonable and why I’ve decided to eat there often. I dont usually take the time in writing reviews, but they deserve it!

Always worth the trip. Staff are really GREAT and the meals were EXTRA GREAT. Fast friendly service and GREAT COFFEE TOO. Meals were out fast and still really HOT!!! Lot's of easy parking and Mrs. said the restroom was the cleanest that she has seen!

We came up from Sarasota to spend some time with our neice and nephew. Googled breakfast places near me. Went to Bob Evens long lines and short staffed we decided to go elsewhere. The best decision we ever made, walked in to Darrell’s Diner. We were greeted with a warming hello from all the servers. Absolutely the best service we have had in a long time, and we travel a lot. The food was amazing, and fast, the price was accurate but to be honest I would have paid twice that for the service alone! Nicole was great with the kids and everyone was on point working together. If I could have given 10 stars I would have. Don’t go anywhere else for breakfast this is your place. Great job!!!

I dropped my granddaughters off across the street to their science club & decided to get a breakfast here. Because it was so good, I decided to get a bf 2 go 4 my husband 2. I noticed that there were regulars that come there as some patrons were greeted by name. Nice place to grab a bite!

Really good. Wait staff very friendly and fast service. We got there a little after one. They close at 3. But we never felt rushed. Will go back.

What an amazing experience we just had at Darrell's Dog Gone Good Diner #11! We were just passing through the area and decided to stop for brunch. With only 2 servers in the building, we were sat fairly quickly, she brought us our menus and drinks quickly too even though I told her to take her time. I could see they were busy and it was only the two of them. I ordered 3 eggs basted with ham and a side of sausage links. The meal came with grits and a biscuit (got a side of sausage gravy with it) which I am bringing home. Most places don't know how to make basted eggs, well this was not like most places. I don't know where they get their eggs from but these were the best eggs I have ever eaten! I used every last piece of meat to scrape the egg up off the plate as to not leave a drop. Eggs were perfect, ham was cooked great and tasted amazing, and oh goodness the link sausage was thick, delicious, and cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the Waffle breakfast. She got her eggs over easy and also said they were cooked perfectly and delicious. Her bacon was on point and she said the waffle was one of the best she's ever had. We figured there would be a bit of a wait for the food to come out with how busy they were, and the kitchen staff even apologized if there was a wait on the food, but we thought it came out much quicker than we expected. I don't have one complaint! Everything was so amazing, I made sure to Thank the kitchen and wait staff for the entire experience. I love checking out new small restaurants, it is always where you get the best food and personal service. I will definitely be telling friends and family about this place and will 100% stop here again when driving across the state!!

First visit after going by for several years. Friendly service, reasonable prices & adequate portions. From the Reuben, burgers & BLT to the 2-2-2 (pancakes, eggs, sausage) everything was served hot & delicious. Even the coffee was fresh & not bitter.

Our family of 4 loves coming here. They always remember us and even know our regular drink orders! The kids love having coloring books and crayons to play with while we wait for food. The puzzle peice photo decor gives such a warm home feeling. We try to visit 1-2 times a month. Prices are great!

They close at 3 pm. I arrived at 2:40 pm. Lots of smiles. Great people. Let me finish my meal with a 10 min late closing. Wonderful dinner.Will return often.

Parking: Nice lot.

The breakfast was ok grits wasn't great missing flavor. The food was not hot Luke warm . Biscuits and gravy were not as expected. Weird setup here you can enter in the back of the building and front. Has a counter bar you can eat at or tables , not enough room to move .

Parking: Not enough parking for restaurant it shares parking with two other companies in same building but separate parts.
