Darrell's Dog Gone Good Diner

My wife was in Advent for five days, she insisted I get some supper each night. I went to the Darrell’s on Pine Ave, James was cooking and did a fantastic job. Different waitress each night, all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The meal and good service helped getting past some difficult times.

Great staff! Not all Darrell's are The same, this one is my favorite. The service foh is wonderful, and the cooks really care about quality. The eggs have never had lace on them.
When they see my son, they always make his pancakes special!

Haven’t been to Darrell’s in forever, but ended up at the Summerfield location for breakfast this past Sunday. Service was excellent, but can’t say that for the food. I ordered the corned beef hash, eggs, home fries, and a coffee. I paid over $17 all together for canned hash, frozen potatoes, two extremely small eggs over easy, and watered down coffee. My husband and daughter’s food was not much better. Walked out paying over $60 with tip for breakfast. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but this was all processed garbage.

Really good service and nice people and the servicer Sherrell N. She was real nice and friendly and the food it was real good and nice and clean.

Stopped in the Darrell's dinner the other day.
Order the club sandwich with turkey and ham And a glass of water I was absolutely shocked when I seen the bill I questioned my waitress. She says. Well, you got the ham plus the Turkey wow I could have bought the whole pig and the whole Turkey.$25.00 plus tax .

Worst service ever sat down and waited a whole hour and all I got was a menu not even coffee or water or what we wanted do not recommend

The food is plentiful and very reasonably priced in this day and age. Next time I'm having the breakfast sandwich, it looked great! With 19 locations (I saw that on a screenshot on TV in the diner), there's bound to be one not too far from you.

The bacon was good. I hate to complain & I get everyone works hard, that employees dont always have time to eat. However, seeing the cook eat in the kitchen, not so great. Please tell him he isn't supposed to let the customers see that.

03/06/2024 Worst customer service in person and over the phone. White waiters give nothing but nasty attitudes and speak in very disrespectful tones…
