I absolutely HATE leaving negative reviews but....I was in yesterday with my son. We were at the register paying for our order when the very heavy and large (like 8x4 ft² maybe) panal on the front of the service counter FELL OFF and landed vertical across the top of my foot. Credit to the young lady who was asst. Manager. Obvious she had never delt with it before but she was polite enough about it all. Although we did dine on the front patio and stayed about 30 minutes, mainly because we were walking and my foot was throbbing pretty bad. I had to pay for my full order which ok no big deal...no one came out to double check on me the entire 30 minutes we were there, and no they were not busy either. But again ok mostly younger kids and empathy takes time to learn I suppose. They did fill.out an incident report and took my number. I didn't get a call last night from a district manager so I waited til this afternoon and called cooperate. Corporate basically blew me off and said the franchise owner would contact me. Shortly after his district manager, not hom, reached out. She blamed my son for fidgeting and pulling on it! What reasonable person would expect it to fall apart?!?! Like ma'am, a very heavy piece of your establishment fell on me. That is on no one but whoever was in charge kf securing and maintaining that panel. Not a 9 year old kids fault it wasnt properly secured or in safe working order! I'm just disgusted with how they handed it. It's been more than 24 hours and it's bruised lretty bad. No permanent damage but gyatdym it hurts. Apparently the pain and the inconvenience doesn't matter to them. That board was heavy, at least 3/4 in thick. Think the heavy duty pressed wood for the good furniture 8 ft long 4 ft wide. I'm a single mom with no support and no transportation I don't have time for urgent care visits I dont have money for child care and the lack of fuks given by the employees when it happened and the cheap passing of liability from the DM I'm pretty disappointed with this visit. Don't get me wrong the employees reacted when it happened but really didn't do anything to actually check on me and make sure I was really ok. Nothing at all was offered as an apology on the spot other than omg how did that happen so sorry and after.....blaming my kid? What is that?

Maybe I just came on an off day, because I remember the espresso here being wonderful. Not this time. My latte was sour. Overwhelmingly sour.
It was barely warm so I am assuming I got an old cup of espresso that someone poured steam milk over. The grilled cheese was good, though!

1- $1.89 bagel, toasted w/ cream cheese. 2- $6 deal meal, bacon,egg, cheese bagel + hash browns + med hot fr.v.coffee. No cream cheese in, on or around my bagel. When I asked about the missing cream cheese, I would have to pay for it. I've never had to pay more unless I asked for extra. Do they not give you cream cheese with the bagels anymore? And Idk what they toasted cuz it wasn't my bagels, the hash browns were burnt yet soft and the coffee, it was actually good. No greetings or assistance unless I spoke to them first. Understandable when you work busy shifts and long days for shyte pay. Smiles and salutations go a long way.

Bought 6 bagels with nothing on them and sliced and a medium iced hazelnut coffee. Haven't been there in a while and they redid the whole inside of the store. Very nice. Had bagels for breakfast yesterday, excellent. Will buy bagels there from now on.

So I use to love this DD. They use to actually give a damn. Now everytime I go they either mess something up or like today I get 2 Boston cream donuts and the literally stacked them frosting on frosting.. Like really is it that hard to just put them side by side. I'm not a picky person and I've worked customer service pretty much my whole life, but somethings are just ridiculous and not necessary. Worst part the look on my 3 year old daughters face.
