The food was the best Japanese steakhouse food I have eaten since New York City! I had had a shrimp Tempura sushi roll, and a hibachi lunch, do not judge I am thin, and everything was prepared perfectly! The spider roll had a large amount of Shrimp that was expertly tempura fried, and the rest of my scallop hibachi lunch was so delicious that I even asked for a to go box for what was left of my soup! The service was top-notch, and the whole experience was wonderful!

We were having a family dinner for my granddaughter, and while we were eating my nephew (my granddaughter’s brother) and he had an allergic reaction because they have peanut noodles. Mind you we have been to EDO a hundred times for birthdays and never had a problem. And also if you search up is EDO nut free, online would say yes and also the menu doesn’t say anything about peanut noodles.

Amazing sushi!! I have tried almost every sushi spot in ocala and this is by far the best place! The rolls are good size and loaded up. The atmosphere is calming,decorative and warm. The service is wonderful. The staff is very polite.

Service was HORRIBLE!!! I went for lunch, Sunday, Sept 14, 2025. It was a table of 4 of us. First, we ordered and I had to ask for soy sauce. The waiter said he’ll bring it and then he was standing behind the front desk area, talking it up with another employee, never bringing the soy sauce, so I had to get up and ask a second time! Then, when he brought our rolls, I had to ask for the dish that holds the soy sauce in it! Seriously??? On top of that, I was wondering why I hadn’t received my fried rice with yum yum sauce. HE NEVER WROTE IT DOWN!! I told him to make sure it’s not on the bill and that, at this point, I don’t even want it! I was just disgusted, because people go out to eat, so they get served and waited on. It’s frustrating to go out and have a waiter who doesn’t pay attention, acts like he’s writing down your order, but doesn’t, never brings the things he’s supposed to, says he’ll bring something and then goes to “hang out” with a co worker, etc!!! THE WORST!!
