Linda and I frequently visit Firehouse Subs for the consistency of all the good things we appreciate by dining there. And also an opportunity to help financially by donations to the community thru Firehouse.

"Went to Firehouse Subs on Hwy 200 in Ocala today during lunch, and I’m torn on this one. The subs are solid—got the Hook & Ladder, and it was hot, loaded with meat, and tasty as always. The staff were polite and the place was clean, which I appreciate. But a 40-minute wait for a sub at 12:30 p.m.? That’s rough for a quick lunch stop. They told us up front, so props for honesty, but it threw off my whole day. Seems like they were slammed and understaffed. Food’s good when you finally get it, but don’t come here if you’re in a hurry during peak hours. Could be a 4-star spot with faster service!"

I enjoy going, the mood seems nice. Everyone working is polite and helpful. Always look forward to eating there.

I ordered on uber eats and the order was wrong. I had to drive up there to get my order right. Poor service!!!!

I would like to start off by saying how welcoming and clean the store was! Lexi was awesome with customer service and Anthony went above and beyond to make sure our visit was out of this world. He went the extra mile to make things right and absolutely no complaints. I had 2 online orders and they were both ready ON TIME and hot when I got there. The food was absolutely delicious. Thanks for being awesome. Keep up the good work! I RECOMMEND THIS FIREHOUSE SUBS TO EVERYONE!!!

Got a sub. Delicious as always.
The cashier was nice.
. The employees were nice. I understand having a fun environment to work in, but at what expense?
I was the only one in there, so I decided to go in because I was in a rush.
I waited for about seven minutes. Went to the bathroom. Came out sub still wasn’t ready. I saw it come out of the oven and sit there while employees joked and danced around.
I love firehouse subs, and I will definitely be back, just not to this store. I have too much to do then wait around while people dance and goof off.

I stopped to get a bite to eat, my order took a little while but, it was lunch hour. I ordered a small New Yorker, rounded out the change. No drink no sides $7 this is what i got for $7!! Do better Firehouse subs!! I chose you over several others because I prefer to support our first responders! Next time I’ll go Nextdoor to five guys for a real meal!

First time ordering from this location. We have been in the Ocala area about 3 years from Winter Garden (Orlando area) and Utah before that. This was the WORST FHS experience ever!

We did an order through the app due to a T-Mobile BOGO deal. It was confusing even for a computer science guy like me. Also, if using a BOGO they prevent you from all the customizations options if you don't use one. This is a major programming issue. You should have all the options.

The next issue was our daughter arriving to pick the order up. Know that their side hustle is Uber Eats. Upon arriving they told her it would be over 30 minute wait. When they finally paid attention to her they realized it was a 2:30 PM pick up that was just sitting there.

She got it home in the sealed bag and instantly items were missing. If you order the French Dip with Au Jus, you expect Au Jus. Not today not the pickle that was ordered. I would have been fine if they put it in with a cold sandwich.

Brings me to my next issue, who in their right mind combines cold and hot subs in the same bag!?!?! There should have been two bags, even if stapled together or something. Just laziness and unacceptable practices. Clearly the staff doesn't take pride in their work and would serve it up to their loved ones as long as they get their paycheck. Who cares about lettuce wilting and bad flavors because of the mixture.

I would recommend Jersey Mike's (our #1) and Jimmy John's long before coming back to this location. You'll be happier with someone who cares and management that ensures it is done right. This location has neither. Even the FHS website bot/AI only let me select one issue for the Au Jus with a pitiful 200 points. Like I'd come back to this location and use them for anything. Never again. So sad because we love the brand.

Came around 3pm , I was the only one ordering. There were almost 6 employees including 2 managers I think and the whole time my sandwich was being made , the guy was looking & talking to another employee so loudly that I could hear him (non work related topics) He barely looked at my sandwich while making it . Another employee proceeded to put her fingers thru her hair . I always come here please do better … update : after opening my plate and eating half of a sandwich I found hair in my sub 😭😭
