Food was extremely salty even my 6 year old can tell. We feel this was done on purpose due to us asking them to remake our icecream because our kids requested not to put a topping on there and they did anyway. We were not welcomed in. Austen just gave a serious "omg order and get out" look. Its all good though we wont be back.

Pretty darn good burger, fries we just “meh” at best, and service was CRAZAZY S-L-O-W! OMG so slow! 19 minutes from my order being placed until I got my order. Wow! Still, that burger was really good. Just need to speed things up a LOT for me to go back.
I recently visited Freddy's and had an exceptional experience. The food was great, hamburger with jalapenos and a coke. The employee that helped me was friendly and very knowledable about the menu. Service was quick and I the employee was smiling, I even asked his name and I was told Austen Busby. Freddy's should be proud of this employee! I will return!

Driving through Ocala for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by our stop at Freddy's. I was expecting your basic fast food spot and instead found a clean, spacious dining area and excellent service. I got our server's name, Austen Busby, who was extremely friendly and helpful (another surprise seeing that most teenagers working in the food industry lack in work ethic). This actually goes out to everyone I came across working that day... all very friendly. As this was my first time, I ordered the patty melt. The menu reminds me a lot of Steak-n-Shake so I tried not to really compare- but Freddy's was far tastier than that found at the other restaurant. Kudos to the cooks. I also tried their concrete custard -it was a brownie concoction (sorry-can't recall the exact name) and it was decadently good! Hopefully if I run across another Freddy's in my travels (none near where I live) I will have a similar experience to the one in Ocala.

Freddy’s is one of my favorite places to eat for a quick bite in Ocala at a reasonable price. It’s reminiscent of some of the more popular places on the west coast without the drive. The staff is always so friendly and the food is always fresh. Try the California style burger!
