Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

I wondered why this restaurant became worse than before but I figured out when i went to the store to get a pizza. We order one of the special posted at door of a pizza with 3 toppings and 10 pieces chicken wings. I found them charging me extra plus giving me an order pizza with 3 toppings 8 chicken wings and some kind of round bread. When i asked why my order was wrong I was told by the rude lady in the back they dont give 10 pieces of chicken wings only eight and that the special at the door or old and no longer valid. I advised her their sign should be taken down as thats false advertisement and she ignored me. I advised everyone who goes there to check your orders to make sure your not being over charged for what you didnt order and that your order is complete and what you asked for. Now i know why they cant keep workers at those location.

I order a delived thin crust lastweek it was sexy and prefect and today I order again they got me these pizza and the manger said that’s thin crust I don’t know who the manger is but bro pls google it what is thin crust pizza looks like ! Lmfao or order a thin crust pizza from Domino’s to see and learn study what is real thin crust man ! If y’all don’t know how to make it think crust just tell me I wouldn’t disappoint Lol wast my time and money ! what a joke ! People pls tell me that’s thin crust lmfao !

I get we all work for minimum wage and life isn’t perfect but common manners goes a long way.
The only nice person behind that counter was the individual with rings in their hat and pink nails.

This Hungry Howies is poorly managed and owned. I attempted to place an order and pick it up, last minute decision as I was near. I was ordering a meat lovers pizza and I asked for them to substitute using extra of one of the other meats as my husband does not like pepperoni. I have never had an issue with this before. They wanted to charge me extra even though we would not be using pepperonis. I was just sure they did not understand me and kept wanting to charge me extra. When I arrived I asked the lady I had talk to in the phone, you didn’t understand what I was asking did you? She said you said you wanted meat lovers no pepperonis, I said yes but I wanted more of one of the other meats to compensate for the pepperonis I was not getting but paying for. I then asked to speak to the manager. I asked to pay for the pizza and they would not let me as I waited for the manager. The manager came to the counter, I started to explain and she said we don’t compensate, I said oh okay, I’ll pay for it. She says we’re not dumb and I made a face like, what? Followed by a sound of really, meaning I can’t believe she said that. I said I didn’t say that and she said yes you did by your sound. I said I’ll pay for my pizza, to which she replied nope I’m canceling the sale! I could not believe it and asked for her name and she said nope and turned her back to me and leaned against the counter. How childish! Keep in mind I have been doing business with this store longer than that manager has been alive, she looked maybe 18 years old and clearly acted that way too!

I called the headquarters and they said the owner would call me back in 48 hours, I’m still waiting 2 weeks later.

So needless, to say I will no longer do business with this store or the company. They employ people that do not know how to treat the customer, they do not care about their customers, lie about their protocols and charge way too much for their product.

Happy ending to my story though, called my regular Papa John’s Pizza and they delivered the perfect pizza with no pepperonis on a meat lovers with extra of the other meats to compensate for the no pepperonis! It didn’t cost me anything extra! As I am a valued customer with them!!

I got a large thin crust with pepperoni, EXTRA SAUSAGE and mild peppers. We couldn't taste nor see any pepperoni and if that's what y'all call extra sausage then we won't be back. Next up.... Marcos.

Don't bother wasting your money here. There isn't a single person who cares enough to give good service. If you try to call up they'll let the phone ring and ring. Every time I order something is wrong and it's a pain to get them to fix it.

Usually order from them online, no problem . Tried to order by phone tonight, and was repeatedly hung up on after being told I am outside of their delivery zone. Just asked for the number within my zone. She refuses, hangs up in my face.What is going on over there. That was so rude. And it's really weird because I'm so sure that I always order from that location online, but okay. Their food is really good,but I will not be ordering from them again.

North pine Avenue is the worst location. I wish I could give it no stars, but that's not an option. Customer service is by far the worst very rude, Very unprofessional. I would be embarrassed if I was the Owner of this location. I order faithfully every week sometimes twice a week. There is a very weird creepy man who delivers the food.He has long hair with Hair on his chin. He delivers your food and ask for a tip in a very uncomfortable way. This would be the second time, I have complained more so because I always give a tip. Today I get a female, very skinny girl with glasses. I believe she has braces on Who claims she is a manager. Wow The most rudest manager I have ever came encountered with. While speaking to her I asked what was her name and she refused very sarcastically to give her name for records. She stated that it's not weird for the drivers to ask for tips. She also indicated very clearly that it didn't matter who I complained to nothing was going to be done. The conversation escalated so ugly over the phone that I showed up to the restaunt to apologize to the manager who is the skinny girl because I can't call her by her name because she wouldn't give me her name, she was even More unprofessional when I was face-to-face with her. I spoke to another girl before I spoke to the manager very heavy set grl with the most disgusting teeth in her mouth, She was who I spoke to first. She spoke so rude that I had to correct her and let her know that she did not have to respond Disrespectfully, she did apologized and Toned it down. I just don't understand how these unprofessional People are working in an environment that you are supposed to be very polite. They work in customer service and are completely miserable. I did Express to the manager The skinny girl, She obviously is miserable at her job. Because no 1 should behave in this manner. I actually called a different location That advise me in exactly what to do and who to contact. Expressed that It was unexcusable behavior, And that I am more than welcome to use this new location, Especially after speaking to the skinny manager Who Expressed that nothing will be done to them to find a new location. NeverIn a million years, will I ever spend another dollar here, very sad.

I really wish I can give this place a ZERO. As long as I been ordering from them I have never had these issues. The staff is rude the lady hung up on me while I was talking to check on a order. That she said was almost to me over 30 minutes ago. Then I called back and the Manger was worse then the lady. And the manager told me there was nothing he can do because I told him I was going to cooperate and good night. I need to talk to cooperate.

Nicest Hungry Howies ive ever seen

This is a great Hungry Howie's! The bread sticks are better than the ones in Gainesville (you get more)... The pizza has been good to go every time we have gone... The service is great! The lobby could be a little better, but that is not why I come here... Plus if you need some groceries real quick, you can order, and then shop real quick... I do recommend this place for some quick, good pizza...
