This was my 1st time here, the scallop appetizers were delicious, not overcooked and seemed fresh, the salad I had with chicken on top was ok...but, the salad could have used more veggies in it and the chicken portion was small.

This place was amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant. I had the Fried Green Tomatoes, and they were delicious! The She-Crab soup was fantastic. And the Stuffed Fried Shrimp with Nola Rice was very good. But the Banana Creme Brulee took it to the house. It was absolutely a must-have! I highly recommend going here and hope to visit again!

I ordered a chicken plate with steamed veggies corn bread macaroni n cheese salad. It could have been better the only thing that was hot on my plate was the chicken . Macaroni was cold steam veggies was cold corn bread .

I had the French dip and it was very good my wife had a salmon salad and the piece of fish was very big my kid got the baked chicken and it was good as well. Service was a bit on slower side but that was probably because they were short handed durning lunch hour. Overall an enjoyable experience

I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and the food was great. I wouldn’t say it is upscale, as we went in leggings and sandals and were treated just the same as those in nicer attire. Very welcoming and friendly experience, would go here again!

Arrived 10 minutes before my reservation time (for a party of 2) and was told to come back in 10 minutes. I did that, and they said they were still working on it. I waited. After another 10 minutes and several people being seated who had obviously arrived after me, I returned to the front desk. I saw their list. At least four names after mine had been crossed off. They said they had been waiting for the people at "my" table to leave and that she "could not physically remove them". It is not the wait, per se, it is the attitude. They forgot me and could not bring themselves to admit to it and apologize -- instead coming up with excuses to why it wasn't their fault. Went across the street and had a lovely pizza for dinner instead. Its too bad, I used to like that place.
