Beautiful and clean atmosphere. Had an amazing meal! The oysters were perfect and the king crab legs were the largest I have ever seen! They even bring the legs out before cooking so you can pick if you want a claw- leg- or knuckle. Our server Chole was very sweet and attentive. Can’t wait to go back! Definitely recommend!!!!

Great service, great food. They know how to make great seafood. We had garlic crab, perch, hush puppies, corn, fries. They did not miss. Everything was on point and they had a revolving door of customers. Definitely coming back for more next time.

I really tried to support this business as much as I can, but y’all got to cool it with the salt. It’s ridiculous… And I’m in my 20s. The salt that is getting put on your seafood boil, especially the corn and the potatoes needs to be cut by a half portion. I should not be getting high cholesterol from eating one meal from you.

I hesitated before leaving this review because it's not something I enjoy doing. I searched for "fresh fried fish" near my area and found this place. I believe in not judging a place solely by its appearance, but it was hard to overlook the foul odor outside when I arrived (thinking to myself that if the inside smelled this bad, I might leave). The restaurant looked a bit worn but nothing too concerning.
Since it was my first visit, I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered a whole fried fish and was asked to choose the type of fish I wanted. The lady at the front counter (not very friendly—something restaurant owners should manage better) picked up my fish with her bare hands, holding it by the tail. That should have been a red flag for me. She carried it to the back by its tail. When my plate arrived, something seemed off, but the fish looked well-fried. In a rush, I took it and then realized it was missing its head and filet. I had ordered a whole fish, so this was disappointing but not a huge issue.
When I took a small bite, I was instantly disgusted! The fish smelled and tasted rotten, leaving a terrible aftertaste—like sewage, metal, and dishwasher (very strange). It was incredibly unusual and disappointing. I thought maybe it was just me, so I had two others try it, and they also agreed—the taste was foul and disgusting, and the aftertaste was lingering and caused us to gag.
As someone from an island, we properly clean our fish with lemon lime etc.., and it was clear this fish had not been cleaned at all! I doubt they even rinsed it off. I could have returned it and asked for a refund, but I decided it was not worth the hassle! K & S, I hope they read this and consider it as constructive feedback to improve your business. This is a significant concern. I won't be returning, and I urge others to think carefully before visiting(do read the reviews then make an informed decision). I threw away the entire plate because I couldn't subject my stomach to that torture, not worth it. The money I spent was wasted (or maybe it paid to share this experience to save you the trip), but my health is way more important.
Please pay attention to food preparation for the sake of your customers' digestive health. If a place isn't clean and doesn't handle food properly, be cautious and mindful of where you choose to eat. Mind your gut health!
