The minute you enter, the smell reminds me of my mother in law’s kitchen. We were quickly seated even though they had a busy lunch crowd.
Our server took our order shortly after and our drinks and food were ready in less than 15 minutes.
We ordered one of the lunch specials and hubby ordered the breaded chicken breast/ pechuga empanizado. It came with rice and beans and an option of tostones, platano maduro.
All the flavors were very authentic. The seasonings were on point and hit the spot. Every bite we savored. So glad we asked our kayak rental guy for the recommendation, otherwise we would have missed this spot. Did not have a high expectation for real Cuba food this far north from Miami.
We finished our meal with a cortadito and colada for that complete Cuban experience.
If you miss the taste of a home cooked meal, this was a win for us.

Don't know what happened, today my wife ordered milanesa steak, it was over cooked I ordered the pork chunks they were a little over to and lack of taste. The beans was lack of taste too. Complete opposite of the last time we were here.

I went it was just after lunch. Disappointed that none of the specials were available. And other items weren't available on the day I came so. I didn't stay. I paid for my drink and some appetizers which were great. They make the best croquettes hot steamy hammy and delicious, but not a whole lot to report this run.
