Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

The food and service is good but charging people for $0.54 per dipping sauce when they bought a meal is crazy. Especially when you order a $40+ family meal bone in. But if its a strips meal then you get free sauce.

When my husband & I first moved to this area we found Lees chicken. We loved it! We visited often, but now my daughter recently went out & ordered chicken & all the sides. She spent a lot. We could not eat it. This was the most overcooked, greasy chicken, potato logs etc. I've ever seen or tasted.Horrible! I was so terribly disapinted! I would not go back nor recommend it. Sad, really because at one time it was delicious!

If I could give LEES CHICKEN ON SILVER SPRINGS BLVD. a ZERO star..I WOULD!!!. Lees chicken at one tine was outstanding but not at Lees on SILVER springs blvd!! It tasted RANCID!! It had this dog food tasting gross clunped up hard salt heavy batter on the chicken which had set under a heat lamp for what tasted like days! I also ordered the potatoe logs which had hardened clumped up batter which waa stale and again tasted like dog food. This waa a pick up order so I called management when i waa sick looking at the crap in wet soaked grease boxes. I told them my issues they said I would have to drive all the way back to the store with my grandkids to get a refund. I had the receipt too and they even looked up my order and didnt even apologize for the hideous food. Do not waste your money on LEES CHICKEN!!! I will be calling coperate because im afraid I might get sick off this food..it was thar bad!!! I will be posting reviews on other sites to warn others not to waste their time!

Used to be good, now it's automated and the person in front ordered so many things and they didn't tell them to pull up and wait. I only have a 30 minute break, I had to leave after 15 minutes of no line movement so I don't get to eat lunch today. Never again.

We ordered a holiday meal deal to go. After getting home the chicken was dried out fried and strips. The mashed potatoes were also for lack of a better word dried out. They would fall off the spoon in chunks how do you mess up instead potatoes. The biscuits were also not fresh. I guess that is a better way of describing the meal. Like it had been setting for a long time. The Mac and cheese were cold. The tea was watered down. After eating here for over 20 years it is odd that this place served such bad food. But it has been getting worse for a little while now. Something has changed here.

Update the website you gave did not work. But just to let you know my wife called that night to get it resolved and the lady said she was the manager

she wrote it all down and to just come by so my son ran by a few days later and Nick the manager maybe basically tried to makes a person feel bad form coming by so my wife call him while my son was still there. She basically was told he would give him a few pieces of chicken. You can keep it. The $40 holiday special is not worth our time anyway . Lees used to be the place to get a family meal in Ocala. They also had the best chicken in town. Now the strips are tiny and the food is substandard. Along with the service to the customers. The favorite works are not even there anymore. Something has changed.

My wife told me about this place. Her coworkers usually get Lees for lunch or a meeting and she told it was good. I didn't think it would be THAT GOOD! 🤤

I had the spicy chicken sandwich, my wife had chicken tenders, Love the battered fries, too. We'll be back!

Usually get chicken (Usually good) but decided to try the tenders just after the lunch rush. Drive through service was acceptable. Tenders were lukewarm at best (I really hate that). Lee's has a good product so I would have to charge this to management/supervision. Tip: Customer brand experience needs to be consistent across the menu and hot, fresh food should be available during off peak hours. You may only get one chance to win a Customer or watch profit literally drive away...

Best fried chicken in town! You've got to try their cole slaw!
