People don’t understand why I like LJS so much and they laugh when I tell them I get the chicken. You just can’t get hand battered chicken like the one at LJS. A chain with a cult following, and we love it. We drove out of the way to hit this location and was not disappointed. A little run down but great, friendly service and food just like we remembered it. Even the sweet tea is good. Highly recommend stopping by here if you need a bit of nostalgia.
We drive all the way from Jacksonville FL to get our LJS fix!!! Anytime we travel south, we swing in and are always greeted with smiles. The food is just what you remember. We usually get fish and chicken plus crunchies to go after eating lunch.
