If the first time we come to dine in on this place. And we mean to do an honest review. The pizza and the garlic knots were really fresh and juicy and tasty. We read some reviews ahead and we noticed people being tough, we know this place is been there for so many years and changed owner. But we have to support local business so they can grow up with the city. Hence the reviews have to be honest and double check with the owner/manager if something is not right. This is not a franchise and that’s great.

Very disappointed in the pizza and the garlic knots. Pizza was soggy and the garlic knots were raw balls of dough. The owner is also not flexible with his coupons. If you advertise a free cheese pizza and the customer would like to add toppings, then charge them for the extra toppings. But please don’t say that the computer can’t process such a request. In my world, it’s pretty simple, it’s called the customer is always right. I will take my business to Pavarotti’s in Dunnellon. Their pizza is great, they’re flexible with their coupons, and are open everyday!Update: I edited my review to 1 star because in 28 years that I have been taking my family to Loritos for some wonderful pizza and service, I can honestly say I threw away the terrible garlic knots that never got better with baking and the pizza that never crisped up because it was so soggy!

Best pizza in Ocala! Love this place. I've never tasted such deliciously light sauce, the crust is light, tender crisp & chewy, buttery cheese and smokey ham. ? seriously the best!

They no longer have the excellent veal parmisan, the only reason I go. Very understaffed, 1 waitress. Food excellent. Great little salad. Great meatballs. Overall great food.

We had just meatballs and garlic knots on a food tour but I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu! The red sauce was to die for.Old school pizza place that took me home to NJ for a little while.

Outstanding!!!! I ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, meatballs, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. Baked to perfection. NOT burnt on the bottom. A generous amount of toppings and cheese. Delicious sauce. Excellent service. Lorito's Italian Kitchen has been an Ocala tradition since 1970. Excellent pizza!!!

The misses and I went there tonight, ever since they changed owners it's gone down hill. It's grungy, it smells like rotten eggs the moment we entered, the food was awful, my girlfriend got food poisoning and is in the bathroom getting sick as I write this. Such a shame, this place used to be amazing, now it's a waste of money. Cooks are playing music super loud and we can hear all their nonsense from the dining area. It's such a shame the original owners sold because the new ones are ruining the place. 0/10 I and my family will never be coming back.

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years. One of the only places where I used to be able to get a really good pizza. 4 years ago it changed ownership. For a while, things remained basically the same. However, over the last couple years found the quality lacking. 2 out of the last 4 times the pizza was really bad. The first time it was almost raw…said they had new cooks…pizza was naturally tasteless. The last time, and this likely will be the last time I eat here for quite some time, I ordered a pizza w/extra sauce and some other toppings. There was only perhaps 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on each slice, and the slices were big (so I would’ve expected a bit more). There was plenty of the other topping however. But, I do like a pizza where I can at least taste the sauce, not swimming in it mind you, but at least to where I taste it and of course see it under the cheese. This one however had little to none. When I reported it to the owner, he looked at the ticket and said the waitress never put it on the order. Yet, she called back the order to me when placed. So, she may have neglected to write it down. So, I considered it a basically worthless pizza, I ate once slice and left the rest…all I could taste was cheese. Perhaps if the owner knowing I was a frequent customer (it is a 30 minute drive from home) would’ve perhaps apologized & said he’d take $5 off the pizza, I would’ve been okay…but, to just say sorry & take my money for something that fell short of what I ordered, a bad experience to say the least….So, it will be rare if I eat here again and will look for other Pizza restaurants to fulfill my pizza craving. To top if off the waitress was extremely slow on bringing all our items.

Ok so I’ve been in Ocala close to a year now, anytime I see a Mom & Pop I make it a point to try em’ out. Wow! Now that is a calzone, hot, crazy cheese, and the meat was good! Let’s just say, I won’t have to go as far for a calzone now. Thanks, and laid back great service. I just enjoyed the overall vibe. Next time I’ll be sure to bring someone and sit down.

I’ve been coming here for years, this place is another staple when I’m in the area. The best Garlic knots, great pizza, friendly staff, nice owner! Best hidden gem in Ocala!

We’ve been eating here for years(since before the new owners took over)….we’ve always had a decent meal here, but lately the pizzas are too thin with very very little sauce, and the prices have increased. It’s not soft and doughy. We got a Sicilian tonight, and it was all bread, no sauce, and a very thin layer of burned cheese. Really awful tasting!Besides the taste, I ordered online and received a time of an hour and a half or more to pick it up (8:41-8:56pm…was ordered at 7:11pm)….thought that was odd, but it is the Friday before Christmas, so just figured they were really busy. Turns out she just gave me the wrong time to come, and the pizza was sitting there for at least a half hour waiting, and she says, “We were wondering if you were still coming”. I got there at 8:40pm!!!That’s when I found out she thought she put in 1 hour to pick-up. No apology. I paid and took my $34 pizza and wings. Now, let’s talk about the wings…overdone, dried out…very little sauce…none even sitting in the bottom of the container to roll them in. Also no dressing or carrot/celery sticks like they used to serve.Just a pricy bad meal…I think we’ll be finding a new pizza place :(
