Where do I begin??? Went to Magnolia Bakery today with such high expectations but I cannot express the disappointment my wife and I felt once we walked through the door. First off the place was dingy and did not look clean at all. Secondly, there was hardly anything Italian about this place. I took one look at the bread in the display case and said to my wife that I can buy a better loaf of bread at Publix. They should be ashamed of themselves for calling that place an Italian deli and bakery. Shame on you Magnolia!!
Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!

“Magnolia Bakery went above and beyond for me. They even opened while they were closed so I could pick up a special order for my niece’s party. It was pink bread, cut lengthwise—exactly the way I needed it. Linda went out of her way to make sure it was made just right, and she even got up extra early on Saturday to slice it perfectly. Their kindness meant so much.”

I had a really disappointing experience. When I called, the person who answered was talking to others in the background and didn’t seem focused on our conversation, which felt unprofessional. I only wanted a quote and asked if they could do a specific design (frosted pugs) for my sister’s birthday cake. Instead of listening, she cut me off and said, “I don’t even know what that is” and “I don’t know what pugs are,” in a very rude tone.
It was surprising because I was genuinely excited to order and support their business, but the way I was spoken to came across as dismissive and unkind. Honestly, I don’t know how businesses keep clients when they treat potential customers this way.
