Excellent dinner all around. Everyone had a great meal. Highly recommended. Started with cocktails - smoked Old Fashioneds and a few other special drinks. All were awesome. Then had excellent appetizers - fried lobster tail, scallops, carpaccio. All was delicious. 2 had steaks and 2 had the fish special. All were well cooked and delicious. Sides were awesome - Au Gratin potatoes were fantastic. Service was excellent and friendly. A great dinner.

I have always had perfect meals at Marks. However, tonight I had a problem that could not be ignored. I ordered my filet medium. When I cut into it, I saw that it was clearly medium-well, on its way to well done while I wait for the waiter to check back on us. I called his attention to my overcooked steak and he disagreed with me, saying "it looks Medium to me". I pointed out to him that people on both sides of me had medium filets and they were nice and red and juicy, while mine looked dry and gray. Then, to make matters worse, he said "Just try eating some of it from the middle and then let me know if you want me to put on another one for you". Excuse me, I just did complain and now you want me to complain again after a few more bites? So apparently I was not going to get what I ordered unless I complained again in front of all my friends and the whole restaurant. I am sorry, but when I am paying $58 for a 10oz piece of meat, it better be cooked the way I like it, PERIOD. If a customer is dissatisfied in any way, the staff should remedy the situation immediately and NOT put the customer on the spot. So, you have been warned! BTW, I drowned my filet with demi-glase and ate the whole dry and underseasoned thing! I am sure we will be back and try it again in hopes my steak will be cooked as ordered.

We were a party of 5 that dined last night 2/1/25. We had a reservation and were seated in the bar area at a high top table. We arrived on time and were seated. It took FOREVER for the server to come to the table. When he did finally arrive, hearing the nightly specials was difficult due to his "stumbling" descriptions. We placed a drink order, and one ordered a glass of champagne. Drinks were delivered about 17 minutes later- but no champagne. When we asked he said it had to be chilled. He asked if were ready to order, and we were. One wanted salmon and he said he didn't think they had it. He would go check in the back. 23 minutes later he came back to the table and said they did in fact have it.
We ordered our salads, entrees and sides. Salads came out (the chopped salad) and they were really good and fresh. And then 45 minutes later, we inquired where our entrees were. The manager very dismissive like said according to the ticket in the kitchen we had only been waiting 23 minutes. NOPE! Clearly our server didn't put our order into the system. The food arrived, and the $60 Ribeye was COLD, the Lobster Mac n Cheese not very tasty, and the Lyonaisse potatoes were disgusting! What was good was the Filet medallions and the Scallops. Salmon and chicken was average at best.
When we asked for the check our server apologized for how slow it was and he indicated it was due to a large party in the dining room. (proper planning prevents poor performance)
We used to love Marks, but there is no way we will return after average food and poor service.
First time in my adult life I didn't leave at least a 20% tip.

From the moment I stepped in to the restaurant, to the moment I left, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MEAL I HAVE HAD!!! The Wine selection, The Lobster Escargot, The COLORADO LAMB CHOPS ( You can taste the difference between New Zealand Lamb Chops and COLORADO LAMB CHOPS, The creamed spinach, and the Decadent Chocolate Dessert... The waiter had an exceptional job- Ask for Daniel!!
We went to Mark's Prime tonight to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary and our meal was amazing! The lobster escargot was off the chart and the crab bisque was one of the best we have ever had! The drinks were delicious and different. Our waiter Daniel was exceptional and always attentive. I can't say enough good about this place!

Excellent date night meal and a great time. Mark's Prime never disappoints and this visit was no exception. We started with some delicious craft cocktails from the bar - my wife had the cocktail from the specials menu, I had a Last Word, both were outstanding. We had a couple of appetizers, the Calamari and the Beef Carpaccio, the were both excellent. For dinner my wife had the pork chop and I had a petite filet with Foie Gras which was awesome. Service was on-point and timeline without ever being overbearing. A great time out.

The food is always exceptional with a nice variety to choose from; however, I always get their steak because it is "prime". They also have wonderful salads and sides to accompany your meal.

The group of us shared three appetizers, all of them were awesome - the new bacon appetizer, the fried lobster tail, and the crab cakes. All the guests ordered steaks - one Ribeye, one Delmonico, two filets, one ordered the fish special, everything was cooked perfectly and was excellent. Restaurant had several half-bottles of wine, only one of us was drinking, and we were able to enjoy a half-bottle of a very nice Napa Cab - Quintessa. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended.
