I’ve been a long-time customer of McAlister’s Ocala, but my recent experience was disappointing. It took 15 minutes just to place my order, and then another 30 minutes for the food to arrive — this for a simple sandwich and salad, with no cooking required. Staff seemed to think this was normal, which was frustrating. The food was good once it finally came, but over an hour total for a quick lunch is unacceptable. A good place to grab a quick bite.. I dont think they wash the salads... right out of a bag...
Dont come here if you want French fries... but they do have baked potatoes...
Not always fresh....

Has some healthy options but lacking in ordering and the music was really hard to listen to. They have 3 order stations but only one person taking orders. She is super friendly but unfortunately that slows things down. I had the grilled chicken wrap, some bits of lettuce were rotten and the wrap was brittle and stale. The chicken was good, the dressing was good and a nice amount of Parmesan.
