One of our favorite restaurants to go to for great food and friendly service. Love that they serve breakfast all day long. They have the best waffles!!!

We used to go to Mimi's in NC and decided to give them a try here in Ocala. I had the salsa omelette and it was horrible had cheese on the inside On the outside was tomato sauce supposed to be salsa diced tomatoes green onion jalapeno and Cilantro was non existed or you needed a magnifying to find the vegetables and Cilantro was non existed. It was all tasteless. Horrible

Great food, good prices. Our older lady waiter unfortunately was confrontational, and ignored us for long stretches of time because we weren't ready with orders right away, sad to see someone so sour. Love the restaurant though

Our family had a 12:30 PM reservation at Mimi's Cafe in Ocala to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and our three sons. We arrived at 12:15 PM to check in, only to find the restaurant in complete chaos. The waiting area was so overcrowded that we, along with many others, had no choice but to wait outside in the misting rain. The worst part? Nearly everyone waiting had reservations, yet the staff continued adding walk-ins to the already overwhelmed waitlist. We overheard several frustrated customers in the same situation, some having waited over an hour with a reservation. After standing outside for over 90 minutes, we asked the hostess for an update at 1:40 PM. Shockingly, she couldn't even provide an estimated wait time. At that point, we gave up and left, completely disappointed that what was supposed to be a special day for my wife turned into standing around in the rain with no end in sight. We ended up going to a nearby hibachi restaurant where—imagine that—we were seated immediately without any of the madness we experienced at Mimi's. We understand it's a busy day, but overbooking reservations and failing to manage the crowd fairly is inexcusable. This experience ruined our plans and left us frustrated and disappointed. We will not be returning.

The food and service were very good however; we made a Mother's Day reservation- were quoted a price for a brunch, then upon being seated, were told there were no drinks specials and were given an ordinary menu. Even though the food was good, the experience was disappointing because we were told on the phone there would be a $35 inclusive brunch.
The food was good, and the server was nice. We each got a muffin for free because it was our first time. The menu is very extensive.

Roof flavor was good, but the portions size of the entrees was somewhat small. The service was attentive and pleasant. I will go there again.

Avocado toast was delicious! Eggs done to perfection and toast filled with Avocado. Servers are always attentive, pleasant, and courteous.

The restaurant has a very nice menu and the prices are relatively reasonable. Food is good and there really is something for everyone. My only issue is the cost of their wines. Having worked at the local liquor store they have a bottle of wine at the restaurant that sells for $40 a bottle and $12 a glass. if you go to the liquor store that same bottle of wine is only $8.99. I'm sorry but that markup is disgusting and really deceiving to customers. That is the epitome of a scam.
