The food here is always good. A scratch kitchen and everything is delicious . Once a month 5 course wine paring dinners that are fabulous, even stuff I don’t like.
Group of six had a holiday dinner on a Tuesday night. Had a delicious meal of the Salmon Pasta. Others at our table had the Seafood Risotto and the Lamb Chops. Did not get five stars as the Dirty Martinis were not what we expected, and the live music was loud and we could not hear each other in conversation. Would return but not on a night with music. Perhaps pair the meal with wine in the future.
We chose Morevino for Christmas Eve dinner we arrived on time early and decided to sit at the bar to have cocktails. Then we got our table. We ask for it to be seated on the wall with a nice view, but we’re denied that because it was a Four Tops then we got sat at a hightop, which is also a for top, we ordered our dinner. My pecan encrusted grouper was unappealing in sight and taste and then after the evening was done an hour later, I walked past the exact table that we requested and it was still open. I’m not happy because it was a special occasion we were treated like , nothing mattered and the food just wasn’t that great and the service wasn’t great
I held a Holiday Party at Morevino for my employees in December of 2022. We had an incredible experience. I coordinated everything with Bri who was on top of things, helpful and polite. Brian is the Chef and helped to coordinate food options and accommodate a Vegan within our group. He checked on our party personally several times, taking time to discuss the wines ordered. Our Server was Victoria who handled our mildly rowdy group like a pro. Amazing charcuterie boards and fantastic steaks! I highly recommend Morevino and their team, really great place!
Creative preparations of excellent menu choices. We enjoyed the Macadamia nut crusted grouper. Sticky Ribs and Chicken Morevino along with appetizers of crab cakes and seared salmon and desserts of Snickers Cheesecake, Triple Berry Cobbler and carrot cake. Service was attentive and courteous. We were very pleased with the whole experience.
This is a pretty place, very small, and too loud. We spent two hours there because of the wait times in between courses. The servers were good but the wait for food was ridiculous. It felt as if this was intentional so that we would order more beverages. Water glasses were not kept full. My meal was good, others in my party were extremely disappointed. The bread came out after the appetizers which meant we were sitting there with only drinks for a good 30 minutes. Many of us felt that the risotto and pasta were lackluster. The lamb and steak were very good. One of my companions received the wrong order twice (it was taken off of the bill)In all, I am glad we tried it, however I am not rushing back.
Great atmosphere, great service, but the food was not good. Macadamia crusted grouper? Very little grouper if it at all, it was dry and laid in a sauce that was not tasty at all. Rice was a blob of cold rice, but the squash was good. Way over priced for the flavor and portions.
The server was wonderful. She made our lunch a great experience. So for service — 5 stars! The food was good. But the prices for a salad and a wrap were high, even in this inflationary time. I don’t mind paying more for exceptional food, but the lunch was pretty standard and did not include any extra touches that would make me believe it wasn’t overpriced. I plan to try Morevino for dinner and see if the food is a little more exciting.
I'm sad I just discovered this late. A great place to go for a dinner date. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is quite enjoyable, and the food has been great everytime. I like the decor as well. They say it get quite heavily trafficked on Firdays and Saturdays, so I'd recommend not going those days. Haha. Only because I enjoy a more quiet experience. If you do want to go Fridays and Saturdays, they recommend having reservations.Great place, and great food.
I find the Brussels sprouts to be a do not miss. So far the veggies have been my favorite. The pork loin was the most flavorful dish we ordered. The handmade cobbler and carrot cake are divine. Every Tuesday there's live jazz. I just love this place.

The staff and atmosphere were nice and the wine selection was good, but that’s where the positives end. The food was, unfortunately, atrocious. The macadamia nut grouper was fishy and mushy, the sticky rice might as well have been mashed potatoes and the appetizers and sides were tasteless. The prices were exorbitantly high for the area, even if the food had been good. But considering the poor quality food, it was frankly ridiculous to spend nearly $150 for two meals, two glasses of wine and an appetizer. Would not recommend.
What a quaint place to spend an evening. The wines were very good.Food was outstanding.Service was excellent.Music was awesome. Will definitely go backIt was a 45 minute drive but worth it.
Yo! I just left this place (insert blown mind emoji). Let me just start out saying, that atmosphere and environment was just inviting and vibrant. We had a reservation at 8, we were late, on top of that half our party never showed, but we were placed immediately and in the best spot in the house: right between the bar and live entertainment (Heather Lynn - who can sing like crazy), and we had the most knowledgeable and amazing waitress, Victoria! Drinks never ran low, was checked on in such awesome fashion, plus the table was NEVER crowded with dishes (we ate ALOT). On top of the amazing, fast and hot served platters we ordered - the drinks are affordable and not “watered down” in the slightest. Oh! Best part, the Chef/Owner hand delivers his plates to the tables, on top of that, continuously checks on his customers to see how the food came out to our liking. I’ve lived in Ocala for 30+ years and have tried nearly every restaurant, never have I spoke to the chef about his food, it was such a great courtesy, this place right here has set the tone for me, I can’t think of another place in Ocala as satisfying as Morevino. No joke, no lie. The only disappointment I had was that I didn’t know about this place a lot sooner!
Always a great dining experience with amazing food and cool jazz on Friday night
Amazing service, decor, wine list, and food. They have live music almost every night with wine tastings and pairing dinners....Very hip vibe!
