This place is a sh** show. I finally decided to give this place a go as it's some what local. I call in my basic order of 1 pizza and an appetizer and was told 30 minutes. I arrive 45 minutes later, wait in line for a good 10 minutes and then get told, oh we forgot to put your order in. Now bare in mind this place isn't exactly packed, the phone isn't ringing off the hook, it's fairly quiet, so if their service is that bad, I can only imagine their quality. As a matter of fact, if they can't put together basic orders when it's quiet, is their food and cleanliness up to standard? It's places like this that you'll end up with food poisoning because nobody knows their as* from their head. NEXT

We visited the Florida Pizza Stop in Ocala Florida. We tried all of these items: Calzone, Shrimp Scampi Pizza, Cinna Knots, Meatballs, Italian Stromboli, Cheeze Pizza, Garlic Knots and Sicilian Pizza. We had a great time and loved the food, plenty of must try's in this episode! The decor of the restaurant is AMAZING and the owners are super, super friendly! We definitely recommend that you check it out for yourself the next time you are in the area! Please check the website link at the bottom of my profile for more details!

Just absolutely pathetic. This is not Nino's Pizza anymore. It is some family run Florida Pizza Shop, worse than I don't know what, because a big mac is more fulfilling from McDonalds

Probably one of my families favorite places. The food is so good and you can buy single slices. While I personally have only had pizza, my family loves their other items.

Pizza lovers, families, friends & foodies: You have to come here! It's not on the main Ocala roads but take a lil weekend drive, check out the food at this place. The expansive menu offers a variety of flavor-packed fast Italian options. The dining area is a great balance of bright, quaint & cozy, with a modern feel. The kitchen area is the absolute cleanest and most authentic made-to-order pizza/Italian joint with an old-school feel to it, all family-owned and operated. Now the food. The standards here are high, amazing quality and huge sizes. My son's eyes got sooo big when he saw the humongous pepperonis all over the gooey mozzarella pizza; my kid was in absolute heaven. Now when we have to order from anywhere else I know there's going to be questions about why the pepperonis are so tiny or why didn't I order double cheese. Hubby took a bite of his pizza (not sure what his would be called but had a lot of stuff on it) and his eyes lit up like we first met. I got a bit jealous! LoL. I mentioned the variety of menu options. We also had a salad which was extremely fresh and had the right balance of ingredients. I ordered a Manicotti dish fit for a goddess (who's definitely on a cheat day). Again, the dish was perfection! The pasta was tender, the marinara sauce was just acidic enough, the cheeses (inside and out) were bountiful! It is decadent, so I suggest some of their more calorie and carb friendly menu items if you've been following my other reviews. They do have salads, meatball and sausage-based menu items that are less intense, but my goodness I don't regret my choice. My whole family topped it off with a bite of the Cannoli. I'm not one for sweets, but it was good too! We're coming back... soon.

Ocala you are sleeping on a great pizza joint. It was my first time going into this establishment and I can tell you from the moment I walked in I knew this is going to be a regular spot. Their customer service is five star as well as the cleanliness of this establishment. I got the sausage, onion, rosemary Large Stramboli. It was absolutely amazing. The last time I had one this good was in New Jersey and that was many years ago. I wish I had taken a photo of how it looked but it was so good I didn't have time to take a picture. Thank you to The Alexnders and please go show The Florida Pizza Stop some love. Support your small business owners.

The one time I chose to order food here, my order was incorrect. I called to let them know and I was immediately berated for it by both the woman who took my order and the manager. I was told I ordered incorrectly despite the fact that I had two people present to affirm that I had not. I've never disrespected a person in service as I was once in service myself and find that behavior abhorrent so I was flabbergasted that they were so flippant toward me.

Got some pizza & strombolis from Nino's the other day. Amazing! Very fresh & hot, nice quality ingredients and they do not skimp!! The restaurant was very clean with a big menu. They have some of the best strombolis I've ever had!

All I can say is wow! The absolute best pizza around! The toppings are so full of flavor and definitely fresh. The Italian sausage and pepperoni is excellent that they use and they don’t skimp on the amounts they put on your pizza. The staff always greets you with a smile. It’s like visiting family every time I go in there. Thanks Ninos, you guys are awesome!

I grew up in the north and the sausage stromboli was a sausage roll for me. I was elated to be able to enjoy that great taste. Im doing my best not to go every week. I wanted one today but their closed till Tuesday. I am going to try the pizza next. The owners are very nice and I wish they had delivery especially with Covid. Finally a real pizza place.
