First time getting the gator tail omelet it was amazing , second time was total opposite. Tasted like an omelet and gator tail that was sitting for a week. . Meat was dark and discolored. Oh well ..

Well it's a diner, locally owned, and is usually busy. The food is pretty good and some dishes are outstanding. Their omelets and desserts are especially good. The service can be a little hit or miss at times, but the servers are always pleasant and make you feel at home.

I've been to Northgate Diner 3 times within about a year. Each time the service and food were wonderful. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant. I just wish it was open after 3:00 for dinner. Best home fries in Ocala!
