Northgate Diner is a great classic diner that gets the basics right. The food came out hot, fast, and portioned generously—exactly what you want from a diner. I had a breakfast plate and everything was cooked well, from the eggs to the hash browns, and the coffee stayed refilled without having to chase anyone down. We visited the Northgate Diner on a weekday in January 2026. It’s a nice little home town eatery where it was apparent, is a popular place for locals. I think it was apparent that we were not the usual regular customer that frequents Northgate. We were not sore thumb standouts, but it was fairly obvious.

We love this place. Sometimes I feel like the servers talk about us when we walk in the door but we still go in and eat. Food comes out a little slow but is cooked and maked fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to others. I just wish it stayed open longer...
