Food isn't very good. Notice a lot of places in Marion Oaks have great reviews, go to them and leave disappointed. Portions aren't the biggest and flavor isn't present. Won't be returning.

Stopped in yesterday while traveling through Ocala. The service was wonderful. The guys there are very nice and friendly. It was nice to see a lot of regulars coming in. The food was ok. The beef empanadas were very good but... I could taste the flavor of bacalaitos, apparently they must fry everything in the same oil. The rice was hard and under cooked. The pinto beans were great, on point and the pernil was way way to salty. The pernil had notl other flavor but salt. That was very disappointing. The restaurant was very clean, but the bathroom could use more attention.

Absolutely DIVINE eating experience at Old San Juan!! The food is perfectly prepared and the meat... So tender and exploding with flavor!! Very unassuming from the outside but A DEFINITE MUST HAVE!! Amazing food, great people and a relaxing environment to enjoy a little slice of heaven. Don't pass up an opportunity to eat here, the food will create a symphony in your mouth, no added spice or seasoning required! And the desserts... Just stop looking for somewhere to eat and come enjoy!!
